Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! What an intelligent reply! When did I say 'my' song was better? (I assume you mean the Serbian song?) I don't think Serbia will win either if that helps? That doesn't stop the Greek song sucking big time! I judge by the song, not by the country and don't think Serbia or Greece will be top 10. (But the Serbian song IS better lol). The best songs imo this year are France, UK, Germany, Turkey, Denmark and Austria. Don't be so Xenophobic and just support 'your' song blindly. Listen to it properly. It sucks!

It sucks for you my dear. Please stop this, it's irritating, go everywhere else and say whatever you want...:)

I think when the voting comes in my dear, it will suck for the majority of people because it is a very poor song. Don't be so defensive, it's not you or your country, merely a song that's being criticised. Rightly!

Impressions of Greek dress rehearsal

Greece is a stunning show closer. It's vocally powerful and the choreography and dancing stay in the memory!

Greece's lighting isn't helping the introduction of Loukas as he is getting a little lost in the dark lighting. The backing dancers are also in suits and they throw off their jackets for the last minute. This is really really powerful. It's the "full ethnic" and takes my prize as the most improved song since the national finals.

City marathon at Berlin is the postcard of Greece. The post card as all of them ends with a national phrase. Totally dark in blue shadows the Greek enry begins. The dancers already perform their act. Stereo Mike is opening the performance and somehow he sounds too deep. Loucas Yorkas takes over dressed in a black suit with white shirt. The backdrops with the ancient columns seem good enough. Loucas seems to hyperactive on stage and doesn’t follow the cameras. The zeimbekiko part of the song seems interesting part. I don’t know why but the second half of the song is by far interesting and well presented on camera than the first one. The press and media here still object at the rap part but everything will now depend on the final show tomorrow night.

ESCkaz

The Greek post card shows a marathon with runners .... A dark and broody beginning to the Greek entry with blue spot lights ... then the camera shot opens with stereo mike and the rapping does not come across well on tv... backing dancers dance all around him ... now Loucas sings, dressed in a simple black suit ... his vocals are excellent and the backing dancers are completely still when he sings ... they start dancing when Stereo Mike sings... again the rapping does not come across well on the tv ... the back drop turns in to big colloseum type pillars all in blue and white ... in the ethnic part there is more dancing by all the dancers who now take their jackets off.. stereo Mike returns to the back of the stage and it focusses on Loucas.... as it ends...

If you don't like some songs, don't listen it, and the end of story.

Guys I wouldn't even bother to argue with markovs ...It's just useless to argue with someone that wears blinkers. He has done the same thing with Greece each and every year. In 2008 he was against Kalomoira because the song was too commercial, last year he was against Sakis because he thought that it was a bad song -again- and I can remember more and more examples .I mean it's another thing to dislike a song and another thing to denigrate a song...But isn't bad publicity the best publicity ???

Well not nice to denigrate like that a song or a singer even if u dont like it or u dont like the nation..just give your opinion in a nice way and support ur favourites.there are many to choose from, you dont have to listen just to one song.

Greece had an amazing 2nd dress rehearsal. Loukas and Stereo Mike were applause most of all participants!

Some comments:

Finally we have Greece and the setting for this is really stunning. The starting rap is totally
horrid and is a waste of time really. However when the ethnic vocals kick in its brilliant.
Greek columns in the backdrop a simple dance routine sets the mood nicely too.
What to do with a song that has 2 minutes of beauty mixed with 1 minute of horridness?
Its ended with a full circle of flaming columns. This is an epic ending , quite stunning.
I hate to say it but it fully deserves to go through and could also win the semi.

This has improved a lot since open rehearsals, and both guys are on their game tonight. It feels very electric and the guys are engaging more on stage with each other and the dancers now. This is coming together more as a song than before, and this will surely be joining the the final on Saturday.

really plsd to read the abv!!!also ,one more comment as follows:

An honest song where Loucas sings with his whole body. Maybe the best male voice in the contest. I know that many people do not like the rap-part but the combination gives a surprise effect. If Loucas follow the camera angles even better it will give extra points.
To the final: YES

btw,is there possibly a link where we could watch the 2nd rehearsal.....??

^ Yes, I'm searching for a link from the second dress rehearsal too. But with no luck. Oikotimes will have a live stream with comments during the final dress rehearsal this afternoon, but I'm not sure there will be image. Besides, I'll be at work so I won't be able to watch it. So I'm looking forward for tonight's show!
Oh, and please write in the thread here whatever extraordinary happens in the dress rehearsal eh? Have pity for the ones who have to work... :-( (Damn, I should have taken the day of...)
