Because as I said no matter what the result of the selection will be, media will blame everyone! And then she will have to make statements and if she refuses things will get worse. You know, the tv station Star channel (which was banned access to any ESC event by EBU) gives really negative publicity to almost every single artist! On Helena's birthday they showed a video when she was singing in "bouzoukia" and celebrating with her fans and friends they kept making comments about her weight and that she's so fat etc. And at that time Helena had actually lost a lot of weight but they kept saying that! We had to send dozens of mails to the station to stop playing the video and remove a really bad text about her.

Besides, it's time she closed the chapter ESC even though I'm probably the only person in the world who wants her so bad to represent Sweden just once!

Hmm I see. But you know, celebrities will always have good and bad press no matter what they do really.

Well, I do find her a bit hypocritical. She said after 2001 she'd go for Sweden next time and she didn't, she went for Greece again instead. I think she's just a bit coward, she know that in MF she would have to compete against others, and I guess she's not up for that challenge.

Problem is though, she's slowly ruined her career in Sweden. She's big in Greece for sure, but Sweden is a bigger market.

I guess she proved where her heart is and that's fine, but it's still a little bit "middle finger" attitude towards Sweden. Afterall she was born and raised here.

^ I don't like her being in Greece! To me she's more Swedish than Greek but I think it happens with every Greek being born and raised in another country. They have a picture of Greece in their minds like it's the ideal place but when they come here they see it's a disaster. But this didn't happen to Helena because she's successful and things are work really well in Greece. She said many times that Greece is her base now.

Well between 2001 and 2005 a lot had changed. Antique split up, she began her solo carreer... Plans don't always come the way you make them.

About Mf I don't want to believe that (being a coward) even though you got a point. But she was supposed to compete last year in Mf but she didn't. I think it was a deadline that she didn't make...

Well, for sure plans changes, but she just shouldn't have made promises in the first place.

To be honest, I don't think she's up for competing in MF, she might say it's because of other reasons, but I don't think she want it. If she really wanted to, she got plenty of opportunities now since apparently they ask her every year lol.

That would be a disaster. Natalia has publicly stated on her show, and many times, that she fully supports Loukas and that he should be the one to go. She has even argued with panelists why Loukas should be the one. Fokas might show favoritism to Nikki's song, as his "protege" dancer is choreographing her show. Mpokota would be a good choice, and Plessas is a guarantee in the jury. As it was stated, ERT denied Elena is part of any jury. But either way, I think she had expressed some thoughts on the songs already, not sure though. Let's see what ERT announces.

You are not alone, its a great song. I just think it is being overshadowed by hype. I hope it ends up standing out. Personally I haven't even decided what my favorite song is yet. I keep going back and forth after listening to them so many times. I guess my judgment will come during the NF live performances, where it really counts.

Since the snippets came out I loved Nikki's and Valanto's. But I want Nikki as I said many times. :p

is there BY ANY CHANCE any rehearsal leakage........??would be very interesting to see what they re planning to present on stage next wednesday ........

Also Kokkina Halia said that they will ''play'' with the lights (LED etc) at the night of the National Final...

Savidakis was going to release the song either way. He is trying to make an international career. He was on "Radio Arvila" back in November where he talked about his plans and also premiered an English song:


I guess he thought ESC would help him launch his international career.
