Really, well maybe everyone could start paying tax and work till they are 65 then it might be acceptable for EU money to be used to fun their entry, but still, unless this can be funded with NO EU money then fine, but then the question would be why are you able to fund a trivial song contest but still need the EU's (Germany's) money.
Their credit rating is like BBB- which is crap basically.
I would expect Ireland to withdraw if we had that much financial trouble.
Also I don't care about Iceland being able to afford it since it isn't EU. Lets get real, this is a trivial song contest not a life or death thing, it is something that could easily be cut from a budget to save money.
