What a surprise, I feel like this wont be the last withdrawal/disqualification.

Sony Music is denying that the band has withdrawn. Some sites claim that the lead singer of the band said they are withdrawing because they do not want to sing the song their label has chosen for them. Sony Music denied such claims, and said the band will sing whatever song they want. ERT has not commented yet. We should know soon enough, all the acts are supposed to submit their songs by Friday Feb. 4.

I think just some media are trying to create drama for more hits for their sites. It is possible that rival fans/artists could be behind it as well, like they were with Eleftheria Eleftheriou's leak last year. The sites claim they have exclusive quotes from the lead singer though, so I don't know.

The labels have until Feb. 4 to submit the songs officially, but most of them are ready. Antigoni Psihrami confirmed in her interview with OAGE that her song is called "Its all Greek to me", and is an uptempo song.

Oikotimes is claiming that the acts will film videos in the studio of them singing their song to be presented in a TV show by ERT a week before the national final. (like in previous years)

The faster they release the songs the better. That whole leaking thing last year was really ridiculous.

If the labels and ERT are smart this year, they will keep the songs under lock and key. In past years the songs have been passed around to get opinions. (to industry people, euro fans close to ERT or the label, etc.....a dumb practice) Last year's leak happened solely to hurt Eleftheria Eleftheriou unfortunately, and it worked. I hope we won't have a similar situation this year, but I have a feeling it may happen again. The situation seems tense currently, and some people will do anything to further the chances of the act they like....

I don't think that there will be a leak this year...things are so simple...

And a breaking new is that Lena Aroni will present the National Final.

Last year group Melisses tried to represent Greece in Eurovision.

From what had been written about the selection (before the announcements, and before the drama) ERT wanted "fresh" acts. They did not want acts that were associated to past Greek selection procedures, especially the 2010 NF. Plus Melisses are on Universal, who chose to remain out of the selection this year. Also "Lonely Heart" is from their debut album released last March, well before the EBU deadlines.

She said her song will be a power ballad, and will most likely be half Greek, half English. (I wonder if the rumors of ERT demanding half Greek/half English are true, since she had said from the beginning she wanted an English song) She also said for the NF she will be styled by Konstantinos Koutsomihos.

I'm sorry but I don't like this group. They can sing offcourse, but i've listened to some of their songs now, and it's just too much teen-music for my taste. Sort of like Greek version of Busted/McFly.

Andorra send something like this in 2007, and it didn't work out too well. This style was popular in late 90's/early 00's.. not so much anymore.
