I dont think, and maybe thats too pessimistic, yeah, that Germany will pick up ANY votes. I just cannot see juries go for them in their Top 10 with some outrageously impressive vocalists in the running this year. And televoting .. yeah no. The performance is to weak. That rotating camera thing in the chorus looks so cheap and undynamic, it lacks the power the song deserved.

Zero points from televoting is almost impossible, with 200 hundred thousand Germans living in Austria and Switzerland. Especially the Austrian televote are easy points tomorrow, because not many people will tune in, because we are already eliminated.

I might catch a little shitstorm for writing this but I'll do it anyway:
Even if I (as a German) could vote for "Sister", I would not do it. I would not want to blindly support my country, but vote for songs that are actually good and which I really like. And there are several such songs in the final.
As I've written before, our best chance for getting a good result would have been "Surprise" by Lilly Among Clouds. A questionable voting procedure in the national final and maybe some "influence" from the organiziers prevented this from happening. These people should be forced to LEARN from their mistakes so that Germany has a chance to be successful at the ESC in following years.

These polls are always manipulated. Even :ge: won one of them.

So if juries finally went with their own criteria, out Sisters wouldn't be last. But we all know how the juries actually vote just like they want, like any other person in front of a TV.
Still convinced we might not be last, but I wouldn't rule it out, everything's possible this year, I have a feeling.

Since I hate most of our songs each year I also wouldn't vote for them even if I could, but this year I would have if I had the chance. I don't think the song is boring and their performance is sincere and lovely. I don't see anything else in here than in Michael Schule last year, only in a double-female-version. So actually juries would love it. We'll see. It's a strong top 10 this year and we all know, even if the Sisters end up in some juries' top 10 it might not be enough to receive points over all.

I wouldnt know how to put :de: in the Top10 if I was a professional Jurymember. I guess 70-80% will rank them 15th-23th like 2016.

Why is Germany so bad at staging a song?

True. Except for last year. I didn't like Michael Schulte but the moment when the road appeared on the wall gave me really goosebumps, that was incredible.

In German TV they only wonder how high Sisters can climb in the top 10 or if they could even win. No sense of realism, none at all. Same procedure as every year. And afterwards they will be sooo shocked about the last place.

I‘ll say they do a Michal Szpak and come third!
Optimism wins! Better to have fun than always complaining.
I must say I admire the British. They openly celebrate their song each year no matter how bad. Why do we Germans always have to be so pessimistic? Even if you are sure it‘s gonna be last... party like it will end up first! :-)
