Neither of these 2 songs will do remotely well in May. Fiddler on the Deck could've been top 10 at least.

I agree, German would probably hinder Germany than help it.

So? ANGLOvision or EUROvision!?

Are we gonna choose everything in English to cater to some narrow-minded people who obviously got the whole concept wrong? xshrug

Anyways German is nice and some of the more internationally successful German acts have all been singing in German (Nena, Rammstein, Tokio Hotel)...

Unheilig have a real fight on their hands though. This doesn't look so certain anymore. Surprised this was the song chosen as well.

It'll be weird to have a German language song from Germany (in a good way), the last time there are was a German song I was like 9 lol

Elaiza may have a chance. Unheilig is all routine now, while Elaiza had real spirit. We'll see.
