Lol, well I was asking for a date.
12th march though, thanks myself.

Yeah I supposed you were asking for the date, but it's so obvious that it can't be before participants reveal their entries!

We want Mona to get Romania's first Eurovision win though. It's bad enough that Belgium tried to steal her a few years back for their national final. She belongs in the Romanian national final.

I want to hear Unheilig's other song! This selection is easily going to be the best of the yearxyes

It's really strange to me, why they wanted to steal her when they could already invented "Kate Ryan with mask" back then!! :?

Well I believe Mona does reside there but is of Romanian heritage. Any country would be proud to have her.

Man, that Santiano song is so good.

We should just cancel 2014 and clear Anke's diary for May 2015 already.

Heard 4 songs and like Bartosz and Simon Glöde very much, but unfortunately I think none of them won't win :(

There are 2 French girls there !

Caroline Rose is little known for having starred the musical "1789", and for having been a contestant of The Voice-season 2...

Meanwhile, Unheilig is getting good airplay @my favorite radio station "Antenne Bayern" with "Als wärs das erste Mal" - they don´t play ESC-music that often, so it´s a great achievement :-)

That's exactly the reason I think it's stupid we don't have anything of Oceana till now, she can't promote her entries at all before NF while others can cause they have released them! :?

I'm really slightly disappointed of what this year's national final in Germany has to offer until now... Unheilig used to be a great band, but nowadays they have become so soft that their songs almost sound like schlagers. And Santiano sound as if someone had kidnapped an average medieval rock bands, imprisoned them for 30 years and forced them to make cool songs about pirates for all grannies out there in the world.

That's why I will cross my fingers for 'Das gezeichnete Ich' and, if the right one will win, the winner of the Wildcard. But unfortunately, there's a big possibility for Unheilig to win.

Santiano's song is.... bleah, orrible. Germay you can do really better, you have great artists on the final and every wildcard is good! :) You can't send Santiago, we already have many crap songs this year! ;)

Well, I just had a listen to the full version of Fiddler on the Deck, and I love it to bits. While it depends on what else comes out, I'd probably be satisfied with it winning Eurovision for Germany this year. It certainly seems to be a very 'love it or hate it' song...

Between Santiano, Madeline Juno and Unheilig, Germany's NF seems like it's going to be my favourite of 2014.

In German we have a good word for bands like Santiano: Trittbrettfahrer. Germany has already had a lively scene for medieval rock and folk metal for twenty years now, so the theme of sailors and pirates has already been used in so many great rock songs that Santiano's attempts to convey the feeling of what it's like to sail on the seven seas lack any credibility, as their music style is much softer than what had been sung before... It's a lifttle difficult to explain my thought, but if you click on the following videos you will know what I mean by saying "Trittbrettfahrer"... Santiano's style is not new at all, it was invented by other bands who have much more quality than Santiano.

Example 1: Schandmaul - Geisterschiff
Example 2: In Extremo - Raue See
Example 3: Alestorm - Keelhauled (from Scotland)

And now, Santiano:

Lol...

OK, the first song is not that bad, but the second one is a catastrophe... It's a cheesy schlager...
