Even years seem to be the years that Macedonia does well and sends good songs.
My suggestions:
Saso Gigov Gis (it would be nice to see a powerful ballad with some nice (not too crowded) ethnic touches.Both of his attempts for ESC were spot on, and I think he can outdo anyone vocally!)
Andrijana Janevska (another experienced performer with a great vocal. She can also perform a ballad ("Nostalgija" and "Drvo bez koren" come to mind) with ethnic touches! She can do other styles, but I would prefer a ballad from her.)
Or send someone like Magdalena or Rennata with a modern song on ENGLISH (with, preferably, foreign composers!!!).

Not my intention at all to start a political debate here, but why do ESCUnited feel the need to use the FYR when most countries simply recognize them as without FYR? Because EBU insists on using that? Not everything EBU does is for the better...

The term Macedonia describes a geographical region which also included parts of the independent states Bulgaria and Greece. That's obviously why. Ah, and because this is how it is used in ESC as well.

A big majority recognizes it simply as Macedonia (or more precisely Republic of Macedonia), the FYR term is ridiculous in all aspects and just because it's used in ESC (I was relieved to see Petra using the name Sweden recognizes though), doesn't mean it has to be used here

^ True, but nowadays Macedonia describes a region and not a country (in correct English at least). It'd be like calling Switzerland the Alps.2
