I also see some patterns in the voting that makes me believe that there is little point for me taking further part as well.
Also big applause to @Malagant for arranging and hosting this and for being persistent in keeping this alive!
Is it so important to win? Personally, I have understood after years in FSC that participation itself is more valuable than the end result. It is pleasant to receive high points, but to discover new songs is even better.
You're very welcome, really appreciate all you do for this contest throughout the years!Thank you, @A-lister Happy that you appreciate these fun FSC Spin-Offs which we want to keep alive, but it depends on our members showing intitiative and taking part.
We will see, never say neverLet us hope you will find time to participate in the future despite your busy schedule.
As for 'patterns in votings', and this goes to other members too, I have taken part in FSC and FSC Spin-Offs for 13 years and one thing I have learned is that all is up for grabs and there are hardly any clear patterns anywhere. Songs that one think will do well can do badly and songs one does not think has any chance can do well, all regardless of who sends them and what is predicted, this makes FSC a very dynamic song contest with many different winners and makes it all the more enjoyable in my view.
As others say, the most important in any case is to share music one loves with others around the world and to get to know and enjoy music from countries one would never come across otherwise, all within a framework of friendly fun competition
