Congratulations to Swedish-Danish Alba representing Denmark and @NicoRobin on the victory, it was my second choice so well deserved xclapAlso big applause to @Malagant for arranging and hosting this and for being persistent in keeping this alive! xclap

Thank you to those of you that supported Poland as well. It's a song that I first didn't pay much attention to but ultimately I love it now and was one of my most played songs last year, there is also a bit of a personal story here without revealing too much ;)

I think unfortunately this marks my last participation in an FSC spin-off though (we'll see in the future), mostly due to lack of time. I also see some patterns in the voting that makes me believe that there is little point for me taking further part as well.

I do wish the spin-offs will continue though as it's a fun little addition to the main contest.

Is it so important to win? Personally, I have understood after years in FSC that participation itself is more valuable than the end result. It is pleasant to receive high points, but to discover new songs is even better.

Thank you, @A-lister xup Happy that you appreciate these fun FSC Spin-Offs which we want to keep alive, but it depends on our members showing intitiative and taking part.

Let us hope you will find time to participate in the future despite your busy schedule.

As for 'patterns in votings', and this goes to other members too, I have taken part in FSC and FSC Spin-Offs for 13 years and one thing I have learned is that all is up for grabs and there are hardly any clear patterns anywhere. Songs that one think will do well can do badly and songs one does not think has any chance can do well, all regardless of who sends them and what is predicted, this makes FSC a very dynamic song contest with many different winners and makes it all the more enjoyable in my view.

As others say, the most important in any case is to share music one loves with others around the world and to get to know and enjoy music from countries one would never come across otherwise, all within a framework of friendly fun competition xup

Thank you to everyone for your kind words, happy to see you enjoyed this fun FSC Spin-Off xlove

And many congrats again to the winner from :dk: Denmark xcheer

My personal favourites in this FSC Spin-Off were: :au::fr::fi: but there were many good songs to enjoy.

Thanks also to everyone for all your votes for my entry from :it: Italy (special thanx for the 12 and 10 points!) and a decent 7th place, glad to see several of you enjoyed the song xup

As I mentioned in my FSC Spin-Off promotion, this song by Gabry Ponte was a song which did not captivate me the first few times
I listened to it but which I liked better and better every time I heard it and ended up loving it which I still do. I chose it for this Spin-Off also because it in many ways spearheaded a future love for Club/(Euro)Dance/Techno/Trance style music which I had not listened much to until then and so it was a Gamechanger also for me

No, definitely not the most important to win. Discovering and sharing music is the sole reason I take part in FSC (both the main one and spin-offs). If winning and high positions would be the only reason to take part, I obviously would have stopped taking part long time ago

With that being said, of course it's fun if what you send is being appreciated, it's a competition after all. But no, it's not the main reason (at least not for me, I can't speak for others).

You're very welcome, really appreciate all you do for this contest throughout the years!

We will see, never say never ;)

As I mentioned to @Geborgenheit as well, the main reason for me to take part in FSC is to explore new music, not the competition aspect of it all. I wouldn't take part for all these years if it was the latter only. FSC has grown to become almost therapeutic for me in a sense.

But yes, of course (and I think it goes for many), since it is a competition that's part of the package and of course a bonus if what you send gets supported (which obviously won't happen all the time, that's just natural, such things fluctuate as you mention) but unfortunately I noticed patterns (which I won't go much deeper into).

But yeah main reason is lack of time unfortunately, but I will not give up on the main one.
