Many Congratulations to The Netherlands with FSC-victory!

Personally I believe Within Temptation have regressed in the last decade, not being up to the standard of bygone years, but they have always been super-popular in FSC so it is no surprise that Dutch Metal conquers yet again. It was ranked 11th on my list this month so just outside my points.

My absolute favourites this month were: (great choices all!) but well done to all countries that ended in my top 10, you all sent enjoyable songs!

The countries that ended just outside my top 10 - & my points - this FSC-month, were (in no particular order): Nice entries these too

I'm a bit disappointed with the Danish result as "Håber Din Kæreste Dør" was my own favorite this month.
Still it seems on your top 20s that many of you still appreciated our entry, though not quite enough to vote for it

I've huge respect for this song & genre, it just wasn't for me this month unfortunately. I'm coming off the back of 2 festivals & think my voting definitely reflected that That said, I can see how so many really loved it

@nofuxCZ I was going to say the exact same thing I've been struggling with new entries for IRE lately, trying so hard not to choose repeat entrants too, but nothing is giving me that spark atm, so I too am certainly open to suggestions guys!

On that note, I'm pleasantly shocked and surprised that Lemoncello did really well, this one took a while to grow on me, I thought it might have been a flop!! So thanks to all who voted

It doesn't matter, the contest is still fun, I mean we had a win this year, so can't complain at all. There are many catchy, beautiful and impressive songs here every month, and sometimes you have to be in the last places as well (although I really liked our song, summer vibes ).

Its such a good song / entry, I was so close to giving it points too.
As @xymothe just said, there are so many catchy & beautiful songs each month - we're all lucky to have such wonderful music shared, no matter what the outcome on the board!

Thank you so much for your votes...Probably needless to say but I'm delighted to have won , even though it's with Within Temptation. I'm very aware of some people's feelings here regarding their participation in FSC (and the process of how they explain their votes). Already since a decade or so I've become aware of how all of that works. As a result I started limiting Within Temptation's participation in FSC as much as possible years ago.
