I learned recently that she was Hyphen Hyphen's singer and it was quite a shock to me as their registers are vastly different. It's promising because she has bigger opportunities to produce a decent song.
I am more into HH's style than her solo album, so if she is selected for ESC one day I hope she would go for that route, though she would be a good choice either way. She has experience and writes her own songs.
I agree. I like "Popcorn salé" for example, but for Eurovision, it's not building enough and it would need to be more produced, like Slimane's revamp compared to the original version. She is too "variété française" on her first album, sadly. With Hyphen Hyphen, they released a few bangers that could achieve top 5 result, though, and she is amazing live.

I hope for France to send something other than either Chanson/another sappy romantic ballad or even worse Rap*... There's so much more to French music than those two things really (Fulenn made me discover bands like Plantec with their "Trad electro", stuff I never would've found if it weren't for Eurovision).

* I just don't like rap music in any language, too much of an aquired taste for me.

My question may seem unexpected, but where’s Indila? Is there any chance she would make a comeback and maybe participate in ESC?

Indila doesn't want to go at Eurovision. She's afraid for their career if she flop.

I'll be surprised if she changes her mind. I hope the 4th place by a huge artist like Slimane will convince our artists to try Eurovision without to think about the consequence for their career

Ride the hype!

Please don't give our delegation ideas like this. He put enough shame on our country worldwide. I don't want him to do more damage.

I would rather have Tom Leeb back than having Philippe Katerine representing us at Eurovision. From the artists we've seen at the Olympics, Gojira would be such a bold and amazing choice. Juliette Armanet would be great too. I've changed my mind about her recently. I though her style was too "french variety music", which usually doesn't work at Eurovision, but her performance at the opening ceremony helped me re-discover her in a different way.

It's possible Louane will be announced as the French representative today. There are several clues.

1st - she rescheduled her tour from April/May to later in the year.

2nd - she says there's a surprise coming tonight

3rd - she hid the title of the ninth song in her album, all other titles are already available

4th - she's a guest on France 2 tonight

Oh I would love that

(would be funny to have one of my WorldVision artists representing France a second year in a row lol)

Long story short: it's probably an internal selection.
Alexandra Redde-Amiel spoke with "L'Eurovision au Quotidien" about Junior Eurovision and also, a tiny bit, about the senior one > https://eurovision-quotidien.com/fr...aux-chances-de-victoire-de-titouan-interview/

Translation of the interesting part:

"There are a number of questions to be answered for Eurovision 2025. Expectations are high and the stakes are high. If we want to win, France must be extremely mobilized and our teams focused on the objective. What I can say is that there will be no announcement as early as last year's.” We'll be back in late December or early January for the first official announcements.
