France FRANCE 2014 - Twin Twin - Moustache

The third is France. There are three lead singers with two back up singers. The lead singer is dressed in a white checkered shirt with yellow trousers. The guitarist is topless but has white painted patterns on his chest, torso and face. The bassist wears short shorts and a hat.The stage is lit an array of bright and bold colours, with lots of greens, yellows, blues, pinks. On each chorus a large picture of a moustache is projected on the screen.
Madeleine: I like everything but I feel a bit confused as to where to look. But, I really liked the dancers. But they should have a dance together to get everyone up and dancing.
Ahmet: It was not good and stage design is so colourful you cannot see them. It is difficult to follow the lead singer's actions, but I really like the dancers.

I mean I still love the song and I wish Twin Twin every ounce of success next week, but I was hoping they were going for something a lot more creative like in the music video...

BTW, indeed, we thought the staging would be more... "full", but remember it's France. They have zero euro to do so.
As for sillyness... Hum... difficult to be silly and energetic in front of an empty arena. They will be crazy on the big night.
What they do looks to be what they did on TV on the last shows.

I think its just far too colourful and I don't like the song. Obviously as you said its hard to act silly in front of no one. Hopefully they alter it a bit to suit their taste. Despite my opinion on the song I hope France do well in the final, and think it is actually harmed from what I've seen.

Back to the Rehersal: DAMN i liked it, They failed at staging, but The Background is quite Ok, I dont know if they will change it to something less sophisticated.
