Most likely it's Olivera, she even follows UMK's Instagram page herself. She has collabed with Tiësto before.


Song like this would be amazing, but her own music is Scandinavian pop.

I really like the type of music she does, reminds me of CHVRCHES a lot. Had to check a video where she sings live too due to the voice sounding quite 'autotuney' on the studio tracks but she does sound really good live too. (y):)

Also when it comes to the other contestant hints, I feel like Erika Vikman alone would cover like half of those spots. :LOL: 10 million streams on spotify isn't that rare thing, even for Finnish music. They did mention before that there was going to be a well known Finnish artist that has done music since the 80's, I wonder if the "concerts all over Europe", "gold and platinum in their CV" & "experienced artist" could be the hints for that person?

UMK Instagram-channel has given three hints on sixth UMK-finalist:

- He/She is knowed on reality television (Tosi-tvstä tuttu)

- He/She has published autobiography (Julkaissut omaelämäkerran)

Perhaps Kaija Koo?

- Ambigious pop music

- He/She has unstoppable stage charisma

- He/She become musical family

First, which became on my mind, was Erin.

Seriously??? I really used to love them so much and I have "Into", "Dead Letters" and "Hide from the sun" in my collection. If they are in UMK lineup, I hope they'll send something memorable.

Wait, WHAT?! I can‘t believe I slept on this post of yours. How cool would that be?!

But even if it turns out to be true, I‘m afraid they wouldn‘t stand much of a chance to win. Finnish people probably won‘t want to send another rock band right after Blind Channel (or what do you think, heke?). Also, I feel like Eurovision fans would generally prefer more upbeat and happy songs over a gloomy goth rock track (which it‘s probably going to be if they don‘t completely break with their style).

But enough negativity, let’s hope it will be a BANGER! I would be SO down with Finland sending three (or more) rock bands in a row again, like they did from 2006 on. The numbers prove that that‘s just what Finland does best!
And you know, as a certain ESC-winning group once sang: „The history book on the shelf is always repeating itself“ :sneaky:
