7 points. It's simple and humble and I really like that. Love his name too, must be a nod to Astrid Lindgren.

A very good song. I like it more and more with every listen. It has something simple, innocent and meaningful in it and carry all this to us by a young guy 21 years old. There is a full harmonization of performer, song and the words of the song.
I hope that this entry would be in a good place at the end coz it deserve this. 12 points from me to Finland!

It grew on me a bit these last two days. Now I find it quite enjoyable, but it is still miles worse than "Me And My Guitar"

I want to like it since it's a feel good song, and I typically like songs like that. However, I'm not too fond of his voice, I like the lyrics though :)

I totally agree with you!
I liked Tom Dice too and I think this song is not a rip-off. Because one guy did a 'simple' song with a guitar, that doensn't mean that no one else can do that anymore? There are so much dance songs that look alike, for example take Croatia and Hungary. The songs globally look the same and even the singers could be sisters! But who cares? I like them both!

Yeah most of the songs are very alike this year. Most of them are in a pop style and there is a few songs that different from it. Rythm take it place in most of the songs in our days and there is no place for melody in it. So I am always looking forward to see it in eurovision songs.

Our song different from others as well.

I have mixed emotions about this song. On the one hand, it is simple and rather enjoyable. But on the other hand, there's something I don't like about this song. I'm giving it 5 points.

This song quite reminds me Me and my guitar from Tom Dice, Belgium, ESC 2010. Ok, Oskar has a soft voice, lyrics are cute, but Finland may not entry again in the Finals, like last year. It has a good entrance though in the show, and this might save them. Success!!

Paradise Oskar, the reigning champion of Euroviisut and this year’s entrant to the Eurovision Song Contest has scored a lucrative recording contract with Finland’s leading record company; Warner Music Finland. The 20 year old singer who in an earlier interview with us (which you can read here) that he’s only recently felt like a true artist, will write and compose all the songs himself with the assistance of producer Leri Leskinen and Warner’s newly appointed production manager Lasse Kurki.

Lasse was recently quoted as saying “Paradise Oskar blew us away primarily as a composer and lyricist. The first time we met, he professed to be a keen admirer of Brian Wilson and Jimmy Webb, who are also my favourite songwriters. When I heard that I understood why such a young guy could write such fine and multidimensional songs”.

His debut album will be released on May 4th.

Reminds me like many people said of Tom Dice, I think it can reach the final, but no 6th place in final

Tom Dice's song was soo boooring, this is much better I think. It has colours and touch a very significant issue.

I think both are equally bad

But just as Tom's overrated one, this will probably get a ticket to the final aswell (?)
