He was member of a group band (consisted of himself, his sister, and his cousin). I preferd his style during those groupband era. the current him, I see him as a someone who just come out of the closet.

Story: I heard this when I was at the barber last week. They played this song and I instantly liked it.
Memorised part of the lyrics and then immediately searched the song.

Thank you for your interest in my Indonesian digs! Of course, I much prefer to send alternative entries... They are quite interesting and there is a group of people who can vote for it. They are so cool! And I think they brought back rock n roll genre.

Based on my observation, I think people in OM like pop more than other genre. But it is a good chance to give it a try another genre in OM.

It's not bad, but a little bit bland (well her other songs are most likely bland).
However, I prefer her singing in her local language and with her original genre, called "Dangdut Koplo". (The genre itself is very segmented but a lot of people like it, not for me though)

Well, there are many Indon singers who cover other Indonesian songs, especially Dangdut singer like her (to cover and change the genre to Dangdut), which is fine but nothing special.
