Victoria

New ITV series to replace Downton Abbey. It's based on the life of Queen Victoria - this first series is her as a young queen. Prince Albert has just been introduced, but at the moment she's more interested in the Prime Minister. Naturally I love it :p

Also had to mention this :p

Young Hyacinth

Unfortunately only a one-off, part of a BBC season celebrating British sitcom. Hyacinth Bucket (Keeping Up Appearances) re-appears as a youngster, it was brilliant  "It's not squalor, it's refined poverty!"

Here are some of my favourite tv-shows
that I have particularly enjoyed through the years:

Newer tv-shows

Game of Thrones (a classic historical fantasy-series, needs no more presentation!)

Castle (a wonderful, ‘extravagant’ humourous/comedic mystery-series!)

Older tv-shows
(that I often revisit on BD/dvd)

Babylon 5
(a glorious sci-fi drama!)

Farscape (another glorious sci-fi drama!)

Firefly (an excellent 'sci-fi western space opera', sadly cancelled way before its time!)

The X-Files (a classic sci-fi paranormal FBI mystery conspiracy-series!)

J.A.G. (a classic Navy lawyer/pilot ‘courtroom drama with some action’-series!)

Dempsey & Makepeace (a wonderful British 80s crime police-series!)

Picket Fences (a wonderful, slightly quirky, quality comedic drama-series!)

The West Wing (a classic political drama-series!)

Help. I've fallen into a cycle of irredeemably trashy competitive cooking shows. Chopped, Cutthroat Kitchen, Worst Cooks in America, Beat Bobby Flay, I can't stop watching them.

I'm one of those people who are able to enjoy shows from very different genres. I guess that's why I'm very much into Dramadies - I just love the mixture
There are a lot of shows that I'm enjoying because they actually make me question certain things. There is nothing greater than a series that animates you to think outside the box and read between the lines imho. Can't even name all the shows I love(d) ... but here are a few:
Game of Thrones (HBO)
Transparent (Amazon)
Orange is the new Black (Netflix)
The Mindy Project (Hulu)
Degrassi (Various)
Faking it (MTV)
Awkward (MTV)
Bob's Burgers (FOX)
American Dad (FOX/TBS)
South Park (Comedy Central)
Family Guy (FOX)
Glee (FOX)
and maaaaaany more...
