People have all sorts of weird and wonderful usernames on the forum. Some seem easy to explain; others less so. Here's a chance to explain why you chose your name and where it comes from!


So me first! Well, when [MENTION=14007]lavieenrose[/MENTION] introduced me to the world of Eurovision, the very first song I loved that he showed me was Kati Wolf's "What About My Dreams?" So... I took her surname and latinised it (the obvious choice for me!) and hence Lupus!

When I was like 16, there was a guy who made an anglicism out of his first and his surname. It was so ridiculous that I decided to create such a nickname for myself and now I cannot get off it

My name's neither Jamie nor James and also my surname isn't Brown. It isn't even Braun/Brauns, which would be the direct translation into german. There's just the theory that Brauns was once the origin of my real name

I learned about the name Adel when I researched the band Ich + Ich and found out the the lead singer's name is Adel Tawil. I really liked it and it become one of my favorite names. The reason why it's repeated is because "Adel" was already in use by another forum member.

So yeah, in contrast to what many of you thought/think, it has nothing to do with Adele, the singer
