Who cares about #8 in the end? - Even though I somehow agree with you, it´s feels outrageous that the televoting winner didn´t win in the end despite getting an exceptionally massive score (from the televoters).

Even though Loreen was great (and somehow deserved to win), this victory feels even more bittersweet than Dunca´s victory in 2019.

Duncan's victory was not bittersweet for me, it was bitterspicy with rage at the robbery of North Macedonia and Norway.

When was the last time the Winner didn't get a single 24 points from a country? Sweden still did quite well in the televote and very well in the juries, so it is fair that she won.

Also, I always believed Portugal managed to skid through in 10th position with a 5 point lead, but no they had a solid double the amount of points of the 11th place. Also Malta coming last in the semi is so surprising to me.

One good thing is that it is 9 am here, so I can take my sweet time waiting for these results. Honestly though, the EBU should release the results immediately, its not like they still have to do something.

I agree. I believe multiple people who are in the juries are probably not qualified enough to judge the songs "professionally". In an ideal world there would be a criteria for them to be songwriters, vocal coaches or producers, but in reality there's a whole bunch of random local celebrities who can barely sing themselves. I don't want to get rid of the juries but I'd like them to have less power and more requirements to actually participate as a judge.

This! And the juries should be much larger in numbers.

Yes, I also felt like they had a lot of support, I do not know where those votes went. Just in general, I know Polish Diaspora is strong, but this strong? I already mentioned before, but this year does feel like the votes were very similar to each other. I miss 2021 and 2019, where the voting was so exciting and the votes were all so different. Last year and this year all felt kind of mellow.

Malta, Ireland, Netherlands and Azerbaijan in semi 1 all got 10 points or less - they weren't even close. I am shocked that Malta only got 2 points from Israel and 1 from RoW - it was a fun song and deserved better.
