Look, I wanted Finland to win too, but lets be honest. A lot of people voted for Sweden apparently, so I'm not going to complain to much. I can see why you can say that Loreen's song has more quality if we're talking about radio friendliness and quality of the singing. So I can't be to angry about it. Also great that Finland and Sweden have given 12 points to each other with the juries.
The problem is that the juries ALWAYS overrate Sweden, and is not what the public want to win.

It's really boring. It's like they have an automatic 100 points from juries whatever they send.

Jury points should be 30% of the overall tally.

Cesar Sampson expected 5 places lower than expected due to the running order. Many people dont tune in on time.

I sent my votes at 23:26 via SMS, so half an hour, or a little bit more, before the deadline and at 0:08, got notifications "Thank you for voting, but voting is closed".
For all 20 votes.
did they take your money?

Congrats to :se: Must feel weird for Loreen to receive her trophy while the whole stadium's shouting cha cha cha. But you can't have everything in life, right?

These aren't entrance exams to a singing school. They should judge the whole package, not just technical singing expertise

So, if you enter a competition with the whole package, but you fart on the microphone for 3 minutes do you expect juries will vote for you? I'm not saying anyone farted on the microphone tonight, but it was obvious some performances were more on point than others and professionals should judge that. That said, I find Sweden's landslide in the Juries too much, too. But jurors were there: it's easier to criticize the Juries when you don't know what they saw or listened in the arena, because the perception at home is different... Loreen won because she was great with both juries (1st) and televoters (2nd) and the outcome was pretty predictable, honestly. She sounded great, the performance was really great and the song, although not Euphoria level, is good. So, the result is not disgraceful, by any means.

I Whish I could say that we could learn from Sweden but Sweden is out of this league

They are far from out of this league… other countries are just dumb enough not to hire the same Songwriters on and on again and share their songs with various countries…

Ppl in the 80s were so fed of Siegel… and I can understand why… so many good places in different countries with the same kind of song

Love how people are acting as if she was like 26th with the public. Calm your bewbs.
Again: All countries agreed to the rules when the entered the competition. Now suck it up and live with it. No need to shame the artists.

We are yet to see WHICH countries audience have voted for her, I'm quite positive wherefrom she has got those 200 pts. 😉

maybe if juries were in the semis, as well, they could have pushed some unexpected favourite of theirs and the votes would get more split among multiple entries (probably not though )
