Nah, Norway was the worst vocal female perf of the night. Seriously. She keeps singing so airy, just adds air to make some husky song. It's not a healthy style. The flute note shows her voice is not supported through her whole range.

I was also disappointed. I had her in my top 5 bit this was underwhelming

Germany: I watched Unser Lied für Liverpool live, online from the UK on 3 March 2023. Germany has gone for a rock song this year, and a very lively one at that. This is not my taste in music, but no doubt plenty will enjoy this style. I liked the lead singer's outfit; it was appropriate for this style of song, and was well staged. This could do considerably better than "Rockstars" did last year.

Lithuania: I watched Pabandom iš naujo! 2023 Final live, online from the UK, on 18 February 2023. Despite the slow start, the song builds up during the pre-chorus. The most notable feature of this song is the line “Čiūto tūto” three times over, followed by “Finally my heart is beating”; this collection of four lines provides the perfect hook for this song. On the whole, a beautiful ballad with a catchy chorus. Monika has a beautiful voice, and sang well tonight, but I think this is a mid-table song.
