Ukraine looks like a typical Swedish entry

Oh my, this part of the contest is full of totally mediocre or even annoying songs. No score again, instead, listen to a proper song with "Heart of Steel" title:

Moldova: They've gone for what seems like an eastern style song this year. It has a good beat at certain points in the song, and I like the use of the flute at times. Altogether a lively song, well staged and well sung.

Ukraine: Well personally, I think I prefer this to "Stefania" last year. Ukraine's entry this year has a good beat. I'm mystified as to the significance of the mountains on the background screen early on, but they look good. Later the screen was filled with faces. This could do well tonight, but it's not going to win.

Norway's song is a very different kind of pop song - the beat alone is special. And even though it has never grabbed me, I hope it will do really well tonight. So far it seems her vocals are slightly better than in the semi.
