How many televotes came in??

159 voted. I'm somewhat disappointed not all 205 jurors televoted, in fact we had quite a few people who aren't in any jury televoting so the figure is even higher. No matter it could have been worse and we sell have thousands of SMS votes.

We have got around 250 people from the forum voted which is higher then any forum online contest or game had before. Also its more quality than quantity, i don't mean the tastes, I mean we got results from community where we know each other for years or even if they are new members they are active (with very few exceptions)
Many sites have thousands people in public vote but do you know them? Its basically just number

I think what we can pride ourselves is that we have done well in the jury portion. Getting 205 people to be the jury is a feat on its own. Plus we do not have the visibility on youtube and I don't think the main ESCUnited team (ie. Matt & co) has helped to publicize this forum contest on their youtube channel. Of course, it would be nice if we get more televote that is in proportion to the actual contest. But I still think we have done very well for our first contest. So kudos to all the organizers and everyone involved. :)

You should make one to give our Eurovision winner :) I‘m sure we can contact them in any way.

We can be very proud!

At least the jury vote is analogous to the real jury vote in Eurovision and therefore has - in my opinion - the same weighting as it would have had in the real contest. So half of our private contest here is truly equivalent.

The televoting may not be comparable to the real contest in numbers BUT since we are all (or most) die-hard ESC fans here, we provide a much more sincere result than the random one-call-voter at the night of Eurovision.

WE are the ones who really care about the songs, the artists, the producers, the fuss around that event. To me that was worth much more if I was an artist.

Thinking of all the funny posts, chat messages during the semis, the rage, the drama, the excitement if all juries get their shit done in time, watching the videos together... that made me enjoy our contest more than the real contest! And we didn’t even have the final yet!
Plus it’s such a nice distraction in a time where we all have to stay home.

So a BIG HUGE Thank You everyone who made our contest happen and contributed to it.
ESPECIALLY THE ORGANIZERS!

Oh noo, the PED is gonna hit us hard 😥

PED is literally the only bad thing about Eurovision, except for it getting cancelled this year
