Yay!Looks like Safura screwed it up.
Peter from AKOE comment:
Now its Safura. The dancer helps her down the steps. She's out of tune! This is Safura's worst performance since rehearsals began. She still scurries from the platform back to the stage. Her confidence seemed to have deserted her. What a surprise!
After Slovakia's,it is Azerbaijan's turn to epic fail! :mrgreen:

One bad rehearsal doesn't really mean a whole lot though. Moldova had a bad rehearsal and they made it so we shall see.

Yeah, a good dress rehersal could mean plenty of jury points. A bad one could mean a low score from the juries and since it is 50-50 this year it matters...

I didn't watch even Manga's dress rehearsal so tomorrow the show will be more exciting for me :D

What is actually so different to the "normal" rehearsals?
I watched the dress rehearsal but could not really find out a difference :?

A dress rehearsal means you perform wearing the clothes you will be wearing at the actual performance. Some artists choose not to be dressed the way they will come the real semi-final during "normal" rehearsals because it saves on time, wear-and-tear and possibly costs (make-up costs, for example, or pyrotechnics).

It would be funny to see Azerbaijan flop and also Germany end up bottom 5 in the final. I want somebody who's not a major fave and also has never won to win - Iceland/Croatia/Albania/Portugal for insctance. :mrgreen:

Out of all of those, only Croatia has a real shot at it, I believe. Albania will possibly do well. Entries like that sometimes do well, sometimes don't.

Iceland is a bit too generic euro-disco-pop. And Iceland wouldn't be able to afford the cost of hosting the contest anyway. I guess they could defer the honor to another country, but that would be unfortunate.
