I still don't get the Malta hype. Destiny's a good singer, but the song does nothing for me

This is also the jury and the audience, right?
When we subtract the jury scores from the total scores, we get the audience score.
Then Malta also has more points in viewers than Switzerland and France. And Italy has more than Malta.

But all this, of course, does not mean how it will actually be

I am looking at the detailed juries result now.
I love that Gebrasy from Lithuania gave 12 points to Eden/Israel!

There is one discrepency though, Israel and France both got 12 points each from 2 juries from Kazakhstan, but Israel got the 12 point and France got the 10 points instead. I dunno how they decide the tiebreaker that since there are only 2 juries.

And funny when they declare the results Israel is not found in the top 10 list.

You mean Belgium or Cyprus, because there is no Israel in Kazakhstan's jury TOP-10 list?

Edit. Nevermind. I should have read your comment at the end.

I have screenshot this from the detailed jury from the excel spreadsheet downloaded from Eurovoix website.

Italy won public vote! xlove

And San Marino second: I already see visions about ESC 2019 Grand Final, where Norway won televote, but Norway was 18th place in jury ranking.

I have problem understanding how they decide the tie breaker when it comes to 2 juries for entries with the same points but the respective points come from one jury only.

That's odd: There are lot of countries, which aren't that Eurovoix´s screenshot about Kazakhstan top 10.

But the end results is correct, coz the spreadsheet is right so the Eurovoix screenshot being incorrect does not matter.

My only issue is to understand the tie-breaker situation. Because I am seeing alot of entries with same number of points from same number of juries but one got the higher point instead (just the one I have shared for the Kazakhstan's situation with Israel and France).

Another example here:
gPsVaRX.jpg

This is the Armenia's jury vote.
Like why did Germany got 3 points even though Romania got the exact same number of points from the same number of juries in the same points split as Germany.
I can understand Russia getting the 1 point since only 2 juries vote for it despite having the same points as Germany and Romania.

Well Kazakhstan results have certain pattern: Firstly 12 points go to Israel, because Maxim gave it 12 points. Secondly Belgium got 7 points, because Bashanova gave it 10 points. Thirdly Georgia got 5 points, because Maxim gave it 8 points. And fourthly and finally Russia got 2 points, because Bashanova gave it 6 points. Perhaps they together agreed with that?

Perhaps in this situation Germany got 3 points, because Poghosyan gave it 6 and he was Armenian jury A member.,

Why did Jury A get to be the tie-breaker?

I just want to know for such situations, do the juries internally decide who to get the higher point?
Does that happen to the actual ESC too?

OK, I have asked TheEuroJury twitter account and got a reply.
It's a random generator deciding who will get the higher point.
That's not "fair" isn't it?

Look at other Kazakhstan jury results points: For instead Jury A gave Belgium 10 and Jury B gave it 0, and Jury B gave Greece 10 and Jury A gave it 0. And Kazakhstan jury decided to give 7 points to Belgium and 6 points to Greece.

I have no idea, why Jury A get to be the tie-breaker at Armenian jury result. Perhaps he was head of their jury? I can only guess.

As another analysis, here is the percentage of eligible jurors for each country that ranked the entry anywhere in their top 10 (calculated this way so not to disadvantage countries with high numbers of jurors).

Here are all of the countries which were in the top 10 of at least a quarter of the individual jurors.

Malta - 59.56%
Switzerland - 56.22%
Israel - 54.79%
Iceland - 50.79%
France - 49.73%
Romania - 45.21%
Sweden - 42.39%
Italy - 40.96%
Cyprus - 39.15%
Bulgaria - 37.89%
United Kingdom - 31.22%
Portugal - 30.16%
Finland - 29.95%
Ireland - 28.88%
Spain - 27.37%
Germany - 26.88%
Estonia - 25.53%

Predictably, Poland came last with votes from just 4.37% of voters

I'm not even surprised TBH, very book-like.
