Even though it's pretty unlikely, but because I know nothing about football and I don't care about odds:

Czech Republic is far from being weak (#1 in their group) but considering Portugal's strenght they really have big chances to advance. I doubt Germany will beat Greece by so much. 1-0 maybe. Greece is improving a little and can surprise. About Spain x France... Hum, I don't want it but I think Spain will take it! (A-O) England x Italy will be fiiiiiiiire! The most even match. Anything can happen.

I don't understand why so many people here and there support Germany so much. They see their teams being demolished by the Germans and still want them to win for the 4th time. xthink What about rooting for those who never won, huh?

youre supporting France and Italy :?

That smile cracked me up! xrofl3 I know, but I also support my national team (they were just runners-up). See? xyaay

And France won 2 times and Italy only 1. Germany doesn't need to win anytime soon.

Do you really think just because we already won 3 times, we don't need to win anymore or that it wouldn't be something special for us? We are waiting since 18 years for another win and many people can't remember seeing Germany winning because they weren't born or a little toddler... Football is such a big thing in Germany, and 40 Million people here are watching the games - Maybe you think "They won that often, that isn't something special for them anymore!" - That's wrong. It would be something very very special for us...

What about the other national teams that didn't win 3 times? If it is important for Germans to win the competition, imagine England or Portugal. I didn't say football is irrelevant in Germany. Of course it is big. I was just saying there is no need to win the competition again anytime soon. They won 3 times and they were runners-up 3 times. Nothing personal, but to me it gets boring because they are often in the final.
