I enjoyed most of the songs in the final tho. Just the worst one won.

It's ok, nothing special but not absolutely awful.

There is something "off" about it and I can't quite work out what it is

THE GOOD:
-His vocals are the highlight of the song.
-Overall, a great power ballad.

THE BAD:
-Not much in the way of instrumentals, but this is minor.
-The sound is kind of dated.

THE VERDICT:
This is a really good ballad. I would say that this song wouldn't be out of place in Richard Marx's discography. Maybe as a late-90s-early-aughts song. That last bit is where it loses me a bit, in that it won't necessarily become a timeless song in 10, much less 20 years from now. Meanwhile, this will probably qualify for the Final. 8 points
