In 2002 over half of the population watched it, I found 2012 ratings, then 334 000 watched semi 2 and 371 000 watched the final.

If you scale that up to the UK, a third of the population is 20 million - that's more viewers than Strictly Come Dancing, more than X Factor, more than Andy Murray winning Wimbledon, more than anything aired on British tv in 2013.

If anything, Estonians watch more television (or they have fewer channels, which I would suggest is more likely).

No, there is just one million of them. Don't you think 200000 out of a 1000000 is a lot?

Of course that's a LOT, there are around 150 million people in Russia and they received 1 million votes in the Voice final and said it was a huge success when it's under 1% of all population. In Estonia it's over 20% of all people, so it's massively profound.

I'm not that surprised TBH... I don't expect Sandra to be a jury favorite... And that feeling was expressed from the begining, especially by Eerik if I remember well. I think Lenna is a secure superfinalist, but everything is possible for the 2nd stage. It's a kind of "Destiny" case no ? When Laura was such a clear winner, but for the juries...
BTW I'm not found of Sandra's song either, and I fear it appears as something bland for the wide public though Sandra is a singing goddess and has an unexplanable aura !

I don't think that Lenna comes to top 3 this year. This song is much weaker than ''Rapnuzel'' and ''Mina jään''.
Sandra seems more obvious winner than Ott Lepland was in 2012.

No need for drama. These are just her predictions, and she represents different demographics group than most people on the Internet. And again, these are her predictions, nowhere does she say Sandra shouldn't qualify. She just doesn't think she will.


PS! I think Sandra should not qualify.
