Judging from the preview of the first semi-final my absolute favourite is still Loss Paranoias. The front singer sang very well, and she has a cool attitude. I really hope they qualify!
I was quite disappointed with the rest of the acts

Why does Estonia pre-record the semi-finals? Is this for the juries to vote, and then the televote will take place over the next 2 Saturdays during the live semi-finals?

Only the performances are pre-recorded. The other part will be live. The jury will sit in the studio with the artists and watch performances from TV screens. I guess it's cheaper and easier than to do it completely live. The semi-finals were introduced just last year and we don't have too big budget for the contest anyway...

Liis Lemsalu is one of weakest songs among all semi-finalists. Would be a terrible choice if she ends up winning the final.

From those clips most of the songs sound just awful.

Pitch issues are probably related to this video and not the performances themselves. ERR tends to upload crappy videos to Youtube.

Ott Lepland's acting debut in "Vasaku jala reede" (Bad Hair Friday) premiered last night. One of the film's co-directors is Tenfold Rabbit's vocalist Andres Kõpper, soundtrack was written by Tenfold Rabbit and it also features Oblivion.
