I am here and I will give an update soon about the current situation.
I just deleted my most recent post so if you already read about it, please ignore it.
Quick breakdown, there was some communication breakdown and I've been trying to have everything fixed over the past 45 days but things didn't go smoothly.
But i am happy to let everyone know that the forum link will be changed for the next few days and this forum is now officially the new esctoday forum. I know there are a few things I will look into this weekend (it's my birthday so there may be a slight delay) such as the confirmation email and polls.
Please post all concerns in the feedback forum and they will be fixed. and there will be some changes made in the leadership team as well. a lot of work ahead of us but things are finally back running.

So is there still some way we can have the old forum opened? What I know form facbook is that "The forum is closed by the forum founder. If you are the founder, you can re-open it from admin panel board settings.", though I'm nost sure the person who gave me that piece of advice is right.
PS Nice to see you're still here, Matt! And you'd better vote in the next WL in the main NSC edition. Otherwise, you're going off of it.

So does that mean we can get rid of the spammers again?
And also I think it's better if all of the previous spammer accounts listed with 0 posts should be removed from the member list, I know it'll be a bit difficult with who to leave but it'll make the member list cleaner anyway

Cleaning up the member list will be what I'm going to work on once the link on esctoday was changed which should happen within the next few days.
There will always be spammers unfortunately even with email confirmation (just like on the old forum) but the number of spam accounts will be drastically reduced which means less work on the mods.

However it's a very good fact that you created this new forum, cause after trying to log in the forum of the web esctoday.com many times I realise it will impossible.

Yes, the official URL is going to be escforms.com. For now it is only being used to forward everything to esctodayforum.com but we will tranfer everything soon. You can still access the forum using esctodayforum.com

Any news about the possible re-opening of the old one? Happy to here that at least one of the problems is fixed and more new people will be able to join now.
I'm afraid the old forum is gone for good. I looked into it and there is not a whole lot we can do. There are a lot of technical details involved but what I can tell you is that all of the data on there was destroyed when it closed which is obviously very unfortunate.
I know that the member list is still full of spammer accounts but would there be any chance of esctoday running an article for the forum? It's getting a bit busier here but it's still quite quiet so I think it should be 'advertised' a bit more

Regarding the spammer accounts: They will be deleted eventually, there are just more pressing things going on right now but that will be taken care of.
And I highly doubt that esctoday would run an article.
Unfortunately we had to start over from scratch (kinda) so there is a process involved but looking at the numbers we're doing fine.
And we are currently working on several ways to promote this forum including our own YT channel, our own blog etc.
Again, it's just a process as I am mostly doing everything by myself.
