It's time for the rehearsals to finally get underway for Eurovision 2024 at Malmö Arena! 37 countries will begin their preparations for this year's contest today, with over two weeks of coverage to come from the ESC United team on the ground!

The schedule for rehearsals is below (thank you Eurovisionworld! All times in CEST);

DAY ONE


The team will be on hand to cover everything going on in Malmö over the coming weeks, so make sure to follow ESC United on Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram, and YouTube and Twitch to not miss a minute!

Please also use this thread for any rehearsal coverage and discussion, including for jury shows, dress rehearsals and the live shows!​

Still no below par vocal performances. I think the producers wanted that and did what was necessary.
Some like Cyprus just turned on the AR and have the backing vocals do to the chorus with the lead singer turned like 30% down. It's actually a step back. Everyone thinks they're The Pussycat Dolls in one person. It's nuts. Isaak had to scream over his own backing.

I like the Cypriot performance, it's just unfortunate that much of it seems to have her vocal backed up. She is young so maybe not quite the vocal power for parts of it yet.
True, but most viewers probably don't care (unfortunately).

Song 21: Switzerland: A very lively, catchy song. This featured Nemo on the rotating, tilting circular platform, though it's amazing how he could step on, and jump off it, when he did. Casual viewers seeing this for the first time tonight are likely to vote for this, just because it's so catchy. However, some who have done some background reading about this entry, and realise what it's about, may refuse to vote for this.

I still think the staging doesn’t do a great job of communicating the video but Raiven hit it out the fucking park tonight
