RULES OF THE RANKING GAME

1. Please vote for your favourite songs using the standard Eurovision points system (12 - 10 - 8 - 7 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1). In any rounds with less than 10 eligible songs, omit the lowest points as necessary. If you are using flags in your post then you must also clearly state the name of the country and ensure the correct flag is used to avoid confusion or errors. You may present the votes how you wish but the points and receiving countries must be clear. Any incomplete set of votes will not be counted, even in part.

2. Please post your votes in this thread publicly. ONLY votes that are posted in this thread will count towards the weekly results. Therefore, only registered forum members may vote in the game.

3. IF YOU LIVE IN A COMPETING COUNTRY, YOU CANNOT VOTE FOR YOUR OWN COUNTRY! We will verify your IP and can also identify when a proxy is being used, and none of your points will be counted if you fail to submit a valid set of points. If your country is one of the first eleven countries to reveal their entry, please omit the lower points as appropriate.

4. When posting your votes you must CLEARLY indicate which country you are voting from. We will not count your votes if you fail to do so, and you will not be advised that this is the case, so you need to ensure your posted votes are valid.

5. Each round lasts 7 days. The round deadlines are now every Friday at 23:59 CET. This will allow the majority of national finalist winners their fair chance in each new week. All points will be reset to 0 at this point, so you must post your votes once more to count for the following round. You may begin voting in a new round as soon as the clock ticks into the Saturday. The weekly result will be posted by the end of Sunday here and via our weekly YouTube countdown video.

6. To reflect the unpredictable nature of countries revealing their entries, songs will immediately become eligible for voting once they are confirmed for Eurovision 2023 (to clarify - confirmed by the EBU or Eurovision.tv as representing the country). Eligible entries will be updated live in the first post.

7. Should you need to change your votes to reflect new entries in any given round, please re-post them and clearly mark *AMENDED VOTES* at the top of your post. Failure to do so will result in your changed votes not being counted.

8. We will check every single vote to ensure that they are legitimate and keep cheating to a minimum. However we reserve the right to not count your votes - without warning - in the weekly total if we feel they're fraudulent. Please make sure your votes are accurate and eligible before submitting.

9. STRICTLY ONE VOTE PER IP ADDRESS. Yes, you may have a friend or relative who is voting from the same household but it is impossible for us to verify that, therefore we have no other choice but to enforce this rule to reduce the risk of fraudulent voting.

Hi!

My first ranking and some comments after last Super Saturday. Voting from Estonia as usual.

Romania - 1 point. There's a big competition to my last place and this time, that song drew the longest straw.
Denmark - 2 points. Not my cup of tea at all. But there are worse songs and it's better than those.
Italy - 3 points. Don't get that song completely yet, but I'll keep on listening It's nice, but there were better choices.
Ireland - 4 points. Listenable. But not live. I guess it might drop in my list when more songs are revealed.
Czechia - 5 points. Quite an understandable song, let's say. These points are solely for the message, my respect!
Ukraine - 6 points. Not a fan of the genre, but thats kinda likable on some days. Slava Ukraini!
Malta - 7 points. Bit different, but good! The only thing missing - memorable chorus.
Latvia - 8 points. Still crying for Inspo (and Raum), but this is a solid grower for me! Nice entry! I'd give Estonia 8 as well.
Slovenia - 10 points. It just gets under your skin without you even noticing it! A GOOD SONG!

And finally...

Norway - 12 points! Seriously, WHAT A BANGER! At this point, from revealed songs it's the only I REALLY like!

from me gets:

- Don't get that song AT ALL! Nothing memorable except the singer. Is this supposed to be a folk song or what?
- I guess I might relate to the message, but the song and the performance... My musical taste can't comprehend that.
- This goes past me, sorry. Not my taste.
- I won't rule out this can't reach my ranking in the future, but at the moment - borderline.

Well, Lithuania coming in few days, can't wait!

I'm not an admin here and not trying to act as such. So, I'm sorry in advance. But PLEASE - check the RULES before posting here!
I'd like that every single vote for each country would count (especially for my country ).
If you like to use the flags (I do), please state the country's name as well. That really helps for eliminating mistakes.
I'm not sure, if the points should be written out separately as well (admins will back me on this, I guess?).
But yeah, in some cases, I see only vertical stripes instead of a country and some other gibberish instead of points. Maybe it's just my computers issue, but still. Maybe some other users experience it too?
