This year is excruciatingly bland so far. I care for three songs of the eighteen we've gotten. I need something crazy to happen and i'm looking in Norway's direction *cough* Hank von Hell. Italy are awesome but I'd like at least one song this year that's totally up my alley. Something emotional that I can connect with, a fun eurotrashy entry that's actually good, an alternative song that doesn't bore me to sleep. There's so much mid this year that I just can't see myself ever caring for. It's the worst feeling as a fan not being able to get hyped for the contest. I've had it two years in a row now. It makes me sad.

Once again Italy is my favorite. They're really shapping up as my favorite country in ESC.
Sunny and catchy, I don't need more. This is the Spanish entry I've been waiting for years now. Unless there's a drastic change, I'll finally vote for my neighbours in May.
It wasn't my A Dal favorite (rip Fatal Error) but this will do. Hungary doesn't disappoint me two years in a row.
Another entry who grew on me a lot. At first I didn't give it more than 4 mere points, but now I can finally enjoy it.
I love the mix between genres. There's some up and downs but overall it's original.
Before the NF I didn't give much attention to this song, and like most people I was both surprised and disappointed by the results, however I can say it's pretty good.

It's still generic as hell, but at least it's enjoyable.
Not as horrible as people make it out to be. The melody got stuck into my head a few times.
Aside from the scenography, I don't get the hype. Can listen to it more than one time, though.
I didn't expect this one to climb up on my list, I still think it's flat and repetitive, but I guess I succumbed to its beauty and simplicity.

It isn't a bad song, but it's easily forgettable and has no personality. I feel absolutely nothing.
Just plain boring. I don't connect at all with this song.

This year's been so disappointing so far. I'm not the ususal one to say that every year (especially because I think 2018's extremely good) but this year's irritatingly bland.

I have three "faves" as of now but faves in this case means they are not as bad as the rest. I like France, Spain and Germany.

Good: Australia and Romania

Rest: I have to force myself listening to them again.

I like most of these entries to be honest. Germany/Denmark/Montenegro are only 'Lame Bad' as opposed to 'Offensive Bad'. Still, I lack entries I can be passionate about outside of Sebi and Soldi, but Friend of a Friend is rapidly growing on me and so are Romania's, France's and Belgium's songs.
