1997 best year ever but i was like 2 years old.

Yes, but mostly I love old contests from 1965 to 1985.
My marks are very strict, 7/10 is a level of 90th - 100th in all-time list for all Eurovision history.
10/10 is a very rare thing, not only for Eurovision songs. I can name only near 20 songs, which 10/10 material for me.

From ESC they are : Beautiful Song, All Kinds Of Eveything, France Gall - Poupee De Cire, Poupee De Son.

I see, well... I hope you never become a teacher then ;-)

My final ranking before live shows:













Overall, I have to confess this is the weakest year of the decade. I am still waiting for all the rehearsals to upgrade (or even downgrade) some of my scores. However, I'd be happy with any of my 12's or 10's winning but I am afraid will win the whole thing.

Really wanted to post my ranking with some reviews on every song, but unfortunately the lack of time didn't allow me to write them.
So, it will be just ranking with estimates of the songs based on the 10-point scale.

No bad songs this year for me (4/10 is the lowest mark, and 4/10 means not good, but at least bearable).
But at the same time no clear masterpiece, to be absolutely sure that it's my #1 favourite (like it was in past years). So, this year is unusual for me, because it was the first time I was choosing my #1 favourite this long

My final ranking before things get underway tonight. Nothing much has grown on me this season besides Belarus, and then you've got my up and down relationship with Albania. In fact, stuff has been dropping down my list more than anything. I'm wondering if i'll push anything higher after the live shows? My guess is on Australia which as a song I've never liked, but that staging just looks so stupendously wondrous that it could be hard to resist.

My ranking for tonight's final. Australia achieves the biggest climb for me, no doubt in humongous thanks to the ridiculously wonderful performance of the song. Slovenia also goes up a little in my estimations, along with Estonia (a song which at one point I had right at the bottom). Israel takes a tumble, as does Cyprus (not feeling either as much as I once was). San Marino still the greatest thing that ever happened to my life. So happy I can vote for Serhat tonight
