It seems the veto wasn't all that useful most of the time. Mine was in no need to be used, either.

I felt like Sandra from Survivor (she wanted Russel out from the start). I wanted Turkey out from the beginning (from the semi-finals ). Congratulations Germany, I guess they are going high this year. They are high on the rankings, high on the betting. :?

Turkey was definitely in line to get kicked out earlier but our recent onslaught of new Turkish forum members helped them to 2nd place

Actually if ParadiseES would have used the veto (they didn't make it in time) Turkey would have ended up in 6th place.

One interesting thing fact to point out is that Belgium and Cyprus were being accused of benefiting from the Veto when it was actually the veto that hurt them in the end, at least Cyprus.

Yeah, I wanted to save Sweden, but unfortunately I didn't come online that day. The last and most important veto wasted. Silly me

Interesting to see that several rounds were very close calls. In some cases a single vote more or less would have led to entirely different results! Glad to see though that the veto didn't have that much of an impact.

Oh, and Matt, excellent job putting all this together! And not minding all the quarrelling.

My veto saved Latvia and made them end up on rank 11 instead of 15 !
