If :pt: sends Conan Osiris, they will qualify thanks to the jury (televoters will place him below 10th)
:fi: won't qualify
:hr: will revamp and then qualify
:mk: and :ch: won't qualify again
:de: will place on the left hand side of the board

If I had to pick, I'd say Austria will be top three again and San Marino will sneak through to the final.

Not really a bold prediction and not really related to the contest in may but ...

:dk: :hu: :lt: and :ua: will mess up their NFs today and will send songs the fandom doesn't want, making this weekend worse than the one last week.
i am so glad this ended up not true. (denmark is sending a shit song but the fandom didn't wany any of other options either so it doesn't count lol)

Going to make a few!

:it: will finish right behind the top 5 due to bad live.
:be: will NQ for the 2nd year in a row.
:am: will finish inside the top 3.
Neither of the 3 streak losers last year (:ro:, :az:, :ru:) will finish inside the top 5, therefore none will have 'a comeback.'
:gr: will qualify, ending behind the top 20 in the grand final.
:pl: will NQ once again.
:al: will finish inside the top 10.
:fr: will win the contest.
 will come very close to winning.
The top 3 will be very close overall this year.

:sl: flops and NQs
:mk: finally qualifies after such a long time of NQs
:uk: somehows ends up in top 10
:se: flops at televote again
:il: ends in last place
:us: gets invited to the contest to replace Ukraine and comes second place

Hmm, this year is tricky... here's my take.
:sl: or :al: will win
:au: will be a shock NQ
:pt: will reach top 5
:se: will NQ
:fr: will pull a :pl: 2016/:dk: 2018 with the juries bombing the entry.
:de: will pull a :cy: 2018
:us: will come in last minute and ruin it for everyone

Half of the Expo Center will be empty due to lack to ticket sales. (Seriously, have you checked those prices!?)

Finally, an underdog country will win, just barely.

Tumblr, mostly.
Guys this is the "Bold Predictions" topic, not "fire off ridiculous baseless speculation". Some of these are kind of funny though  but never ever going to happen, come on.

:is: will do way better than people give then credit for (and actually, I do not believe juries will loathe them either). I don't think they'll win, but they could easily come top 10, if not top five.

I'm actually starting to doubt whether :it: will be top five this year. I think Mahmood might finish 6th or 7th instead.

I'd go a step further and say Italy will end just outside the top 10. It's a quality pop song and the fandom likes it, but most people take a while to warm to it; part of why it stood out in San Remo was because it was different to the usual San Remo entries, but that won't apply in Eurovision; Mahmood performs it well but isn't super telegenic; and it came a whopping 21st in the televote on the first San Remo night.

I'm not confident in predicting that, of course, but as far as the theme of the thread goes - yeah, I'm willing to say Italy will be outside the top 10.

Italy will be top 5 but not the winner!

Norway will do better with the juries than the public. Iceland will be the other way round.
