Is HUNAN TV popular in China ?
It would start at like 3am in the morning in China but Hunan TV does broadcast across the regionChina's HUNAN TV is to broadcast ESC 2015 live (BOth semifinals and final), this will be the first time that a ESC edition will be broadcast live in China!
from what i know (a chinese friend already talked to me about Hunan TV when we were talking about media) it was one of the biggest channel in China (like top 3- top 5) they're airing a lot of "young" programs, Drama (tv show/series), Contest Show (like Idol), Anime. They're more into entertainment programs.
I remember that they air in all China + Macau, Hong-Kong and Taiwan. I guess they should have a huge audience. wyq614 correct me if i'm wrong.
Another country hooked! Before you realize it, you'll be competing too!
This really comes as a surprise to me as well as all the members of our small Eurovision fan community, when a employee of Hunan TV actually contacted us and asked for some help. We're so glad to see that while CCTV suspended the broadcast of ESC to "hide itself from Conchita Wurst", there are still open-minded channel that is ready to work in this project.
