The executive chef Jan Lagermand Ludme has in a aticel popl. today on DR.dk told DR that the stage is not going to be as huge as Christer Björkmand has told the press........... but we can expect a large and spectacular stage. He (Mr. Ludme) also said that DR is not going to show any drawings / models of the stage..... so no stage picks before 6th of may :(

There will be plenty of pics before then. Rehearsals will be going on for almost 2 weeks before the semi-finals begin, so we'll know in April what it looks like.

This is what happens with your vote! | News | Eurovision Song Contest - Copenhagen 2014

This year, for the first time ever, the EBU will also publish the individual rankings per jury member, as well as televoting rankings per country, right after the Final. The names of all 185 judges - 5 per country - will be released on the 1st of May.

Once again the EBU says that the seperate and complete individual juries and televoting results will be revealed right after the final. The juries names will be revealed on May 1st.

They also have a video explaining the voting procedure:

According to DR's website the stage will be 19,5 m tall and consist of 40 tons of steel which have been imported from the Royal Danish Theatre.

Gotta say I'm intrigued :)

Not quite my friend. The 40 ton of steel is imported from all over Europe. The stage is build by the Royal Theatre.

I think you missed a quite important info about the light.......
  1. Over 1200 m2 LED-skærm : English: More than 1200 m2 LED-screen .......WOW

I have no idea what that looks like? you mean a 1200 metre squared LED-Screen? If so that would explain a lot

I dreamed a HORRIBLE dream yesterday!

In the dream, the arena looked like a concrete parking lot, except the walls were coulered white instead of concrete gray. The stage was extremly basic. There was a very small audience that was sitting in a leaning pattern against one of the walls (think the ESC 1988 setting). The lighting was awfull and non existent. You could easily see every ugly corner of the arena. xshock

The funny thing about the dream is that there were a qualification round for ALL artists. Head-to-head, were only 13 made it through. Reminded a little bit of the German qualification, except, they didn't need to sing a new song, 13 numbers were elliminated in about 2 minutes, giving a really chocking atmosphere. In the dream, i was in the arena AND later watched it on TV. I couldn't bare watch the competition, and enjoy the songs, because it looked so extremly bad. I remember saying to my parents in the dream "BAN DENMARK FROM ARRANGING THE COMPETITION IN THE FUTURE!!!". Super angry!! And afterwards there was an interview with some kind of Danish producer calling it a "Super Fiasco" and he looked very tired and sad. He said "We couldn't finish the arena in time, we didn't have the money".

I'm so glad when I woke up, it was just a dream. Phew. What a relief! xheat

They're playing it so safe this year it's not even funny. Three hosts, so there can't be rhymes. A professional stage designer so we're not left with a box on a football pitch like in Parken, and letting the fans pick the interval act so there'll be no swearing Aqua.
