Bastille are a British indie pop band formed in 2010. The group began as a solo project by lead vocalist Dan Smith, but later expanded to include keyboardist Kyle Simmons, guitarist and bassist Will Farquarson, and drummer Chris Wood. The name of the band derives from Bastille Day, which is celebrated on 14 July, the date of Smith's birthday.

After an independently released debut single and a self-released EP, the band signed to Virgin Records. Their first studio album, Bad Blood, was released in March 2013 and entered the UK Albums Chart at number one. The band was nominated for four Brit Awards at the 2014 ceremony, winning the British Breakthrough Act. As of November 2014, Bastille have sold over 5 million records in the US and 2.5 million records in the UK.

"So, what would you little maniacs like to do first?"

Watching through my fingers, watching through my fingers
Shut my eyes and count to ten
It goes in one ear out the other, one ear out the other
Burning bright right till the end
Now you’ll be missing from the photographs, missing from the photographs

Watching through my fingers, watching through my fingers
In my thoughts you’re far away
And you are whistling the melody, whistling the melody
Crystallizing clear as day
Oh, I can picture you so easily, picture you so easily

What’s gonna be left of the world if you’re not in it?
What’s gonna be left of the world, oh

Every minute and every hour
I miss you, I miss you, I miss you more
Every stumble and each misfire
I miss you, I miss you, I miss you more

Watching through my fingers, watching through my fingers
Caught off guard by your favourite song
I’ll be dancing at a funeral, dancing at a funeral
Sleeping in the clothes you love
It’s such a shame we had to see them burn, shame we had to see them burn

What’s gonna be left of the world if you’re not in it?
What’s gonna be left of the world, oh

Every minute and every hour
I miss you, I miss you, I miss you more
Every stumble and each misfire
I miss you, I miss you, I miss you more

"If you want to be a party animal, you have to learn to live in the jungle
Now stop worrying and go get dressed"

You might have to excuse me
I’ve lost control of all my senses
And you might have to excuse me
I’ve lost control of all my words
So get drunk, call me a fool
Put me in my place, put me in my place
Pick me up, up off the floor
Put me in my place, put me in my place

Every minute and every hour
I miss you, I miss you, I miss you more
Every stumble and each misfire
I miss you, I miss you, I miss you more

Watching through my fingers, watching through my fingers
'Cause every minute and every hour
I miss you, I miss you, I miss you more

Before my Lithuanian era i was a fan of Heidi Range.
With a right song choice you can get my 12, but zero also is very possible.

"About you now" is my favourite song from them, like Rainy, I loved it and listened to it a lot when it come out. However, I do know what you sent and I am not disappointed (not like it would happen with the Sugababes).

I'm mostly a fan of their ballads, but "Push The Button" is not bad choice.

Re: ENGLAND ♔ WV74♔ SUGABABES - PUSH THE BUTTON

WORLDVISION 74

SUGABABES - PUSH THE BUTTON

253_l.jpg

THE Sugababes were an English girl group, formed in 1998 with founding members Siobhán Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan. Their debut album, One Touch, was released in the UK through London Records on 27 November 2000. The album achieved moderate success, peaking at number 26 in April 2001 and eventually being certified Gold. In 2001, Donaghy departed the group amid rumours of a rift with Buchanan and the group were dropped by their record label. With the introduction of Heidi Range, former member of fellow English girl group Atomic Kitten, the group began to experience a higher level of commercial success whilst keeping the critical acclaim they had achieved with their debut album. They released three studio albums before Buena announced her departure in December 2005, leading to Amelle Berrabah being brought in to replace her. Following the release of their first greatest hits album, the new line-up released two studio albums. In September 2009, after 11 years in the Sugababes, Buchanan, the final original member, was replaced by former UK Eurovision entry Jade Ewen. Range, Berrabah and Ewen released the group's seventh studio album, Sweet 7, in 2010, after which they signed to RCA Records, before announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2011. In 2013, Ewen confessed that the Sugababes had split two years earlier. The original line-up of the band reformed in 2011, under the new name Mutya Keisha Siobhan.

In 2006, British Hit Singles & Albums named the Sugababes as the most successful female act of the 21st century with six UK number one singles and eighteen UK top ten hits. They racked up six number-one singles, "Freak like Me", "Round Round", "Hole in the Head", "Push the Button", "Walk This Way" and "About You Now"; the Spice Girls are the only British girl group to have had more. They also released five UK top ten albums, four of which reached at least platinum certification in the UK, and have been nominated for six Brit Awards, winning one for Best British Dance Act in 2003. They have been a long-term fixture in the British tabloids due to their several line-up changes and alleged group infighting.

I'm busy throwing hints that he keeps missing
Don't have to think about it
I Wanna kiss and
Everything around it
But he's too distant
I wanna feel his body
I can't resist it

I know my hidden looks can be deceiving
But how obvious should a girl be?
I was taken by the early conversation piece
And I really like the way that he respect me

I've been waiting patiently for him to come and get it
I wonder if he knows that he can say it and I'm with it
I knew I had my mind made up from the very beginning
Catch this opportunity so you and me could feel it 'cause

If you're ready for me boy
You'd better push the button and let me know
Before I get the wrong idea and go
You're gonna miss the freak that I control

I'm busy showing him what he's been missing
I'm kind of showing off for his full attention
My sexy ass has got him in the new dimension
I'm ready to do something to relieve this mission

After waiting patiently for him to come and get it
He came on through and asked me if I wanted to get with him
I knew I had my mind made up from the very beginning
Won't miss this opportunity so you and me could feel it 'cause

If you're ready for me boy
You'd better push the button and let me know
Before I get the wrong idea and go
You're gonna miss the freak that I control

If you're ready for me boy
You'd better push the button and let me know
Before I get the wrong idea and go
You're gonna miss the freak that I control

I've been dropping so many hints
You're still not getting it
Now that you've heard everything I have to say
Where we gonna go from here?

After waiting patiently for him to come and get it
He came over and asked me if I wanted to get with him
I knew I had my mind made up from the very beginning
Won't miss this opportunity so you and me could feel it 'cause

If you're ready for me boy
You'd better push the button and let me know
Before I get the wrong idea and go
You're gonna miss the freak that I control

If you're ready for me boy
You'd better push the button and let me know
Before I get the wrong idea and go
You're gonna miss the freak that I control
(I control)

If you're ready for me boy
(For me boy)
You'd better push the button and let me know
Before I get the wrong idea and go
(Oh, oh)
You're gonna miss the freak that I control

Re: ENGLAND ♔ THANK YOU and FAREWELL!

FAREWELL

Thank you guys for those 12 editions is :en:. I had a great time here, I won 2 times! It was a pleasure to be the Queen of England and be able to send my favourite artists. I decided to rank all me entries and write some words about them.

#12 Olly Murs - You Don't Know Love (SF 02 094p, F 15 134p)
I am very sad I have to place Olly last, but as I said, I only send artists and songs I love, adore or have very warm memories about. I really love Olly and the song. It's unlike any of his songs and MV is nice, love the black-white effect on it. And Vegas xheat

#11 Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder On The Dance Floor (SF 19 032p, F DNQ)
Dear Sophie, hit of my childhood. This song as everywhere. And once again, great MV, one of the best ever. I am very disappointed it didn't qualify, but it must have not been as much memorable as I thought it'd be. But I am happy I sent it. The song deserved WV.

#10 The Saturdays - Gentleman (PQ, F 21 110p)
The Sats are one of my favourite pop gropus. They're like Girls Aloud 2.0. Gentleman is a nice, catchy pop song that only could be sent as PQ. It was really worth it. The song is so much fun and I like the joke of it. Girls did a really good job.

#09 Emeli Sande - Hurts (SF 01 100p, F 01 248p)
Yes, my winner entry. Why is it only 9th? Well, I do love all the song and it is very difficult to rank them, but I go as my heart tell me to go. Song is very beautiful, very powerful and great, but it doesn't bring any memories sa few others.

#08 Hurts - Some Kind Of Heaven (SF 05 079p, F 14 124p)
I love this one. I remember this on the radios and it was played hard. It has everything I love in songs. It's dancy, modern, hip and cool. The music video is weird, I don't understand it, but I accept it :)

#07 Bastille - Good Grief (SF 12 046p, F DNQ)
Do you have songs you just love, you don't know why, but you love? It's the song. The chorus is perfect, I ever like when he sings very highly. I am sad it didn't qualify, but I know it was very risky to send it and I don't regret. I think I'd be sad I didn't send it before I departed if I didn'if that makes any sense!

#06 Fleur East - Sax (SF 04 078p, F 12 120p)
Fleur, my X-Factor winner. The only edition I watched. I love this gurl! I didn't like her at the beginning, she didn't show enything special, but then in Simon's house there she was! Out of the blue. I loved her 'Uptown Funk' peformance, it was a thing! And Sax in a sister os that song. Girl, just I love you!!!

#05 Sugababes - Push The Button (SF 12 055p, F DNQ)
I don't believe babes didn't qualify. It's very sad, as Sugababes are the reason I started to learn English like I should. I remember they wern't very populer in Poland and when I wanted to read anything about them I had to search for English sites. Fan sites! Are fan sites still trendy? There are so many memories I have about Sugababes. I love all 5 of them, every era had great songs (Jade era never happened).

#04 Leona Lewis - Run (SF 05 080p, F 06 149p)
My ultimate scorewhore entry! Leona was very popular in Poland and 'Run' is one of her best songs. She didn't disappoint me. I wish she could come back with such amazing songs like her old ones.

#03 Tom Hiddleston - Why Don't You Love Me (SF 21 023p, F DNQ)
I REGRET NOTHING! Tom is my husband and have no idea why people didn't love him. Last last was too much. I didn;t expect qualification at all, but last? People, really? You didn't get Loki? Oh, yes, Loki is mine, you can't get him, but c'mon...

#02 Wham! - Last Christmas (PQ, F 04 184p)
I was very lucky to get a PQ in England for Christmas. How could I not send this? This is my ultimate favourite Christmas song. It breakes my heart we will never see George again. What happed is still unbelieveable and heart-breaking.

#01 Girls Aloud - Something New (SF 01 122p, F 01 213p)
To win with my favourite band and favourite song of them was incredible. I still cannot believe it. It was a gift from fate. It was May and May is my birthday month. Just thank you. Girls Aloud mean everything for me. Thank you.

Thank you once again for support. Now see you in :us: regions!

Re: ENGLAND ♔ THANK YOU and FAREWELL!

You had a very hot stay with England, and not only won twice but fulfilled the dream i'm sure many people have of winning with their favourite artist. It's nothing but a pipe dream for most of us, but you made it happen with the fabulous Girls Aloud. I'll share my top 10 of your England entries.

12. Sugababes - Push The Button
10. Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder On The Dance Floor
08. Tom Hiddleston - Why Don't You Love Me
07. The Saturdays - Gentleman
06. Girls Aloud - Something New
05. Wham! - Last Christmas
04. Leona Lewis - Run
03. Bastille - Good Grief
02. Emeli Sande - Hurts
01. Fleur East - Sax

No surprise that my favourite is "Push The Button". The Sugababes would have been my ultimate 12 pointer of last edition. I was so sad for you when you didn't get them through, especially as i'd been poking at you to send them since the dawn of time:cry: I loved Sophie and Tom as well. Basically my top 3 are your hot flopsxheat Tip for everyone: Don't send music I love to WorldVision:cool:

Anyway, best of luck with the States dear. Gosh, you and Ashley suddenly invading Murica. The three of us now here. Outrageous!
