According to Estonian media, the favourites so far are Iiris Vesik, Marten Kuningas & Mahavok and most of all, Lenna Kuurmaa. In a poll at one of the most popular entertainment portals, Elu24.ee, 30% of the voters preferred Lenna's song, followed by Marten's (27%) and Iiris with 13%. Their readers like the song by 3 Pead the least, followed by Tiiu Kiik's and Disko 4000 - they all got round 2% of the votes.

In another popular portal, Publik, people seem to prefer Mimicry's (21,1%), Groundhog Day's (19%) and Marten's (15%) songs. The least favourite being 3 Pead (1%), Tiiu Kiik (2%) and Disko 4000 (5%).

Sorry but your news about elu24 are simply wrong. Firstly the elu24 poll was about which artist you expect the most from. And secondly it was made after the artists were revealed like 2 weeks ago. So the votes there are based purely on artists without even hearing the songs.

After listening to most of the songs out for ESC2010, I think Estonia has the best shot of winning. Maagiline Päev and 8/9 other songs are genius.

Comic due Ott Sepp and Märt Avandi will host Eesti Laul. They are quite known in Estonia so it's going to be interesting.

I know it may sound crazy, but I don't like any of the songs. I only almost like "astronaut" and "rapunzel" and "oota mind veel" is also not that terrible, but the rest....

The Estonian broadcaster ERR has today announced the running order for their 2010 Eurovision national selection Eesti Laul. Several days ago, the names of the guest artists to feature in the show were revealed as well. This year's Estonian final takes place next week, on March 12th, at the Nokia Concert Hall in Tallinn.
The running order for Eesti Laul 2010 is as follows:

1. 3 Pead - Poolel teel
2. Marten Kuningas & Mahavok - Oota mind veel
3. Mimicry - New
4. Tiiu Kiik - The One and Only - Love
5. Violina feat Rolf Junior - Maagiline päev
6. Disco 4000 - Ei usu
7. Iiris Vesik - Astronaut
8. Lenna Kuurmaa - Rapunzel
9. Groundhog Day - Teiste seest kõigile
10. Malcolm Lincoln - Siren

Besides this, ERR recently announced that the guest performers will be folk-metal band Metsatöll and last year's winner Urban Symphony. Metsatöll will perform new songs from their upcoming album, which they will officially release alongside a concert tour in 12 countries. "Eesti Laul is an important event and we are proud to be the guests" Metsatöll's drummer Marko Atso says. "The presentation of our new album is a week later so it will be a wonderful opportunity to see public's first reactions" he adds. To make the the performance even more interesting, Metsatöll are performing with the biggest professional full-time male choir in the world, RAM.

The author of last year's winning song at Eesti Laul, Sven Lõhmus, said that he is happy to see that once again Urban Symphony will perform for the Estonian audience. Sven also mentioned that this year's finalists should make the music they like and not care too much about the negative comments.

What's happening here? I don't have the Estonian TV, plus I'm watching both the Greek and German NFs (as well as clips on YouTube - mostly ESC entries from 1982 and a French film - 8 femmes! ).

well, I really like the venue but I expected a better stage presentation. Though it's quite understdandable. I mean remembering financial difficulties and all that stuff. On the other hand it helps to concentrate on the song. I liked Iris and Lenna. All sound versions were better than live perfromances. wtf @ Rolf... I mean his costume. Lulz. :|

The jury obviously likes Lenna.

Why don't you read a book and study at the same time too?
