Welcome to Doire for our first ever Christmas themed National Final (there usually is a Bandcampfestivalen this time of year, but we'll save that for a later edition). We will hear 4 songs by the quirky Dutch festive poppers How To Throw A Christmas Party. Each one brings Christmas joy in it's own way. We'll leave it up to Natia to decide which is the best.

Presenting the Congrats 13 entry.
I discovered this band around the time I was doing my dissertation and studying for my final exams, so this song and their other mellow and dreamy songs provided a soundtrack that really got me through a tough time. I had about 5 songs of theirs I was in love with, so really couldn't choose between them. I eventually chose this one since there's something about the performance that touches me. I'm a bit reserved about sending them to Congrats, as they're one of the front runners to be first ever repeat Doire artist and I don't want to oversend them. But I can't resist here.

59 editions, 5 years, ~70 artists of ~25 nationalities. Doire has had an illustrious history. But in all the years of participating, Doire has never sent an artist more than once. Until now. For NSC 134, we present our Alumni National Final. 20 artists who have all competed for Doire in the past will take part to have the honour of representing the country a second time; this time for the 60th entry and 5th birthday celebrations. 20 songs will be split into 4 semis of 5, which will take course of the next week and a half by private message. From there, the top 2 in each qualify to the final, which will be a public vote and open during the NSC 134 confirmation period. Please suggest artists that you would like to see represent Doire again? If you think an artist was criminally underrated, or there's a song from an artist here you truly love, or if you've only ever liked 1 of my entries and think the rest are awful, please do suggest.

The show is ready! It was actually ready last week, but my hard drive just randomly decided to not exist any more, so I lost the show I had. But it's been recreated. There will be 4 semis of 5 songs each, and I've tried my best to separate the similar songs into different semis.
