I really am quite surprised the impact this song is having with lots of nice comments and high odd placings, I dont know what's going on. And strajker hates it, so that's always a sign of a good result :shock: I dont expect much though, just making the final is already a win

Woo!!! Thanks for the 2nd place for Sigur Rós, it was dy shoking On to NSC 88, and our 15th anniversary . 2 gold and 2 silvers in 14 editions is pretty fantastic!!! Our 15th entrants to NSC are folk-pop band I'm from Barcelona (they're actually from Sweden though) and they have as many members as the WL :shock:

Announcing our entry for NSC 89, we're going with an American-written, folksy sounding, Japanese language entry, by the awesomely talented Kishi Bashi, who tours with Regina Spektor (:ii 81) and Of Montreal ( 70). The video is apparently full of riddles, most of which I havent been able to work out, so if you can solve them all, do tell.

Closing off what's been a remarkable first-complete decade for Doire (a win and a 2nd place ) is a collaboration between Belgian folk band Marble Sounds and Japanese singer Miwako Shimizu. I wasn't even considering sending this until very recently (ie this afternoon) when it really started to grow on me. And the video is the most adorable thing ever. Enjoy!
