No, the 15 minutes is just the time the lines stay open after the last song. The first song will definitely have a much longer voting period than the last song.

What the... Which bast*rd invented that rule?! Equal opportunities for everyone!

As I said in the Ukrainian thread once...

When does ESC become about all being fair?

So this is gonna be an "against all odds" thing for the last contestants ?

Research by the EBU's televoting partner Digame clearly shows that the first songs, that have a longer voting exposure, will not unfairly benefit from this.

Has anyone got a link to this - I hate statements that I cannot proof

Stay tuned

It doesn't make any sense. I like how the word "resarch" is often being abused to dispose detractors...

What grounds do you have to doubt this practice being the fairest? None. This is a step towards making matters as fair as possible. That's why the EBU has adopted this rules change.

I don't think it will have a huge impact. Everyone voting before having heard all the songs either has a favourite beforehand, or is totally blown away by a single performance. Not counting fans of particular acts, I think casual viewers will still overwhelmingly (80-90% ?) vote only after all songs have been performed. The new voting system might only affect very close televoting results, favouring the earlier entry.

I iz changing my points from 7 to 10. Awesomez entry just like last year. I only don't like the fake British/Australian accent.

Whatever she sounds, she definitely does not sound German.
And I like that.

It is now official that Lena will enter the German single charts on rank 1, 3, and 4 this Friday.

If it wasn't for Stromae's "Alors on danse", she would have the top 3 for her alone :D

Has Germany ever felt so proud of their entry for Eurovision? Not since Nicole won ESC I think (Germans may know this better than I do :p)!

A really good entry and a really good draw! :) Germany is absolutely a darkhorse in Oslo! :)

It grew a lot on me

I first ranked it as a "Lily Allen rip-off", but now it really got in my ear :D

I liked "Miss Kiss Kiss Bang" better, but i believe this has better chances to do well. And i believe it can enter the top 10.

8 points now.

i think it is not pride. my guess is, it is more of a relief, that casting shows can come up with soemthing different. the big castingshow here is DSDS (like american idol), where the main emphasis is not so much on the musical performance any more, instead it is on cheap exposure of the candidates private lifes. jail, drugs, kids with the cousin, whatever is good to make the front page of the tabloits. stefan raab's show was quite the opposite of that, with a winning candidate, lena, coming from a middle or upper middle class family, being educated, clever and cute, and without having a skeleton in the cupboard. and thats what most people like for a change.

I would like this better without her accent.
