The singer has an interesting voice, when I first heard the sounds of the pop song, I liked it but now after listening for a second time, it comes of as, a bit annoying and I had to skip it... He failed to impress me on his live performance (with weak vocals) too. It's still decent though and I don't hate it.

This is actually one smart production of a very very good radio song.

This will qualify!

But personally, I'd give zero euro-cents for "the kid".

Firstly, I was never on Bieber's bandwagon, this is what this entry essentially is and it's annoying to me. That also means many others will vote for it.

And secondly, I can hear he is a very mediocre vocalist. Thin voice, standard range, can't sing high-pitch tones longer than 5 secs. They concealed that with this abrupt voice-autotune-distortion mix. Though it sounds great as such, it bothers me because I know what it hides.

I will not rate it until first rehersal at Liverpool. He's got time to flop / disprove me.

This year’s final of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix was seen by 939,000 viewers, 46,000 fewer viewers than in 2022. Denmark. This is the second year in a row in which the viewing figures have dropped for the show.

I know that people´s viewing preferences have changed (streaming) but I guess this was inevitable after proving so many safe/generic NF´s in a row.

The head of delegation/the broadcaster really need to come up with new ideas/bolder entries!

A small decrease from 2022 but for a country of under 6 million those numbers (939k viewers) aren't that bad. I do hope DR improve things for next year though.

God he is so manufactured. That hairstyle is probably meant to hide is receding hairline and make his head look smaller so he appears younger.

Yeah, it probably has something to do with streaming, too. I don't watch TV either. I stream everything on my tablet. But DMGP was a bad show imo. Denmark needs to learn from Norway. MGP was one of the best NFs this year.

I've been asking myself that same damn question.
He looked much better before (but still a variant of the current trendy "short sides, poodle on top" look).

But I guess the current look is more marketable because it's more recognizeable... It all comes back to being manufactured.

No i don't think they should appologize. It's just their opinion... I don't know who was even in the jury ... but i can still criticize their choice.
I hope for Reiley he would work on his vocals in the coming months because Pia Maria suffered a lot from the criticism on her social media last year.
I was gonna say that at his age it won't be easy to cope with it. But well he's older than we thought...
