Just listen to Maja and the faint hearted with the only Goth in Vejle. This song makes me so sad. It starts with the title: The only Goth in Vejle .....for god sake VEJLE . Maja says the person used to listen to the Smiths and the Cure.... Mostly the Smiths when the person was saddest.... One thing I will never figure out if the person was the only Goth in Vejle, so Meja was not a Goth ..... Why the h..... did they not move to Århus so the person could be more happy........ Grrrrrrr

Oh and Rainy You are right Denmark will never send this to Rotterdam. I suspekt the most of our televoters are between 10 and 20 years old, and no way are they going to like this entry

Roxorloops was also in Eurosong 2006 (which is probably the best ever edition of Eurosong), also as a featured artist. I tried looking it up earlier but only found the studio version (which doesn't feature Roxorloops for some reason???). Anyway it was a disaster, he and the chick he was with were horrible and swept minimum scores from literally every juror 3333

What in God's wonderful name is such divine me pleasing music doing in any national final? I'm in such shock. I never thought I'd see the day when the stuff I love outside of Eurovision (Part Time, Ariel Pink etc) actually interacts with our contest, and it's to be found in a Danish selection of all places. Only in my dreams. The production is an absolute eargasm. Literally smother the thing with that reverb.

Cicciolina's officially got competition within my heart. Unfortunately Den Eneste Goth I Vejle's chances to represent Denmark feel next to none unless people are willing to channel me for 3 minutes and get sexy with some tasty dream pop covered in a thick pink smog. This song is the absolute bomb. Who's with me?

Thank you for perfectly articulating what I was unable to due to catatonia caused by aforementioned pink dreampop smog this morning.

This is something I expected to come from Selectia Nationala and I dont know how it just ended up in DMGP between all national finals. Plus it has Lise Cabble's satanic writing all over it so in conclusion... I have mixed feelings about it. I guess I'll secretly stan.

My running theory is that the jury might've thought For You was a bit similar to Human (in the ethno elements) and didn't want two similar songs competing...unless the jury didn't hear the auto qualifier songs,then I got nothing

Having listened to all the Danish entries earlier today I must say I was left unimpressed. A lot of songs lacking in imagination and those who do just fail at the execution (looking at the Goth in Vejle song). So we're left with two clear favorites and both of them are frankly underwhelming, especially if you compare them to what other countries are cooking up.

Actually, I think that Denmark's quality in entries has slightly improved. We are still talking about mostly generic songs but a few tracks have huge potential, especially "Yes" and "Human". "Bolger" ain't bad either. I could live with any of these three winning.

I really dunno what are you talking, this NF is brilliant based on studio versions...I have 4 X 10/10, and 3 of them will be in the final, i hope they deliver live.. and one I'm not sure if i like - "Human" lol, is liked everywhere...

It's a mix of bliss and trash but since it's also one of the only few chances Denmark can spice up their participation, and the fact that Goth i Vejle (which is the wonderful song) barely has no chance... you got the point.

2. Sys Bjerre - Honestly (Mainly because of the chorus, that I really like)
3. Emil - ville ønske jeg havde kendt dig (I would just LOVE to see Denmark send something in danish again)
4. Maja & De Sarte Sjæle - de eneste goth i vejle. (Same feeling like with the "oddly satisfying videos" on YT )
