Denmark DENMARK 2019 - Leonora - Love is Forever

When i first heard Denmark national final songs i thought that everything is so horrible and right now im in love with this one. I guess that i shouldn't trust my first impression at all. However chances for this to qualify are very low!

I tried to listen multiple times to this song to see if it would miraculously grow on me, but no it's still in the bottom of my list.
I not only find the melody extremely annoying but repetitive too, and I'm not even talking about the lyrics... I didn't even think it was possible to be this cheesy

Running order is bad for Denmark and i fear that she will finish last in the SF2! Last year Denmark was way too overrated by televoting and now they send a good song and they won't dow well!

I think this song is much worse. But it may not matter that much if the performance / staging is good. I am not sure how corny it will come across, it walks a thin line between slightly cheesy-enjoyable-but-accessible appeal and something already too shallow & saccharine.

I believe that the main reason that Denmark last year got voted that much is because they were Vikings and for the song itself and thats why juries didn't like it! But Leonora's song has a style that many people will find too annoying and corny! I'm in the minority that likes it!

I kind of like Leonora (especially her French ), but yeah Rasmussen was so much better, and no, it wasn't just the vikings, it was the whole epic aspect of his performance and music. The televote didn't overrate, it is the juries who underrated him.

I didn't like Rasmussen's song at all to be honest and i think that the fact they were vikings helped a lot! However i agree that he should get more points from juries!

At first I disliked Love is Forever being turned off by the amount of sugar but now I even like it. I find it tuneful now, but it's not my cup of tea.

We could have chosen League of Light or (don't burn me for that) Teit Samsø; Love is forever is way too cheesy/syrupy/sugary etc. At least Leonora is extremely charming But I can easily see it not qualifying or doing that and then ending up 23rd or something :/

This has been a fader for me, but her tonight's performance has just reminded me how much I loved Love is Forever on the first listen... Which is ultimately the only thing that matters with the viewers. I think she will actually do great in the televote
