Hmm..some interesting things have happened here the day after N'evergreen's victory. People (mainly people who didn't like the song) have started accusing this song of plagiarism! "The Police" with "Every breath you take" is the song being refered to different forums and on DR's site.

I listened to both song and I do see the plagiarism.  Listen, and judge by yourself. In my opinion the intro and verse of the Danish entry is like a slower version of The Police:

Maybe there's still hope for Brian Rice? :)

Plagarism is something for the fans to have fun with, the EBU has never and will never disqualify anyone for plagarism/breaking any other song-based rule, Sweden 2001 was ruled in a court of law as plagarism and it was allowed to participate, UK 2006 was released in 2004 and was allowed to participate... so don't get your hopes up regardless (even though this isn't a strong enough case IMO)

Yeah, but very often plagiarism doesn't necessarily have to appear that obvious so it's possible that something might happen if this news reaches EBU. Also the refrain has been accused of being stolen from ABBA. Which song it is remains untold though.

I immediately thought of the Police when I heard the song but c'mon just because there is a slight similarity at the beginning doesn't really mean it's plagiarism. We hear that every year you would think people would get tired of complaining....i guess not.

I think it is more similar to Tina Turners "Simply The Best"! :p

Both of them has almost the same background, still I don't think it's enough to be disqualify or something. :p

I don't think they are similar........maybe a bit......but even if they are, EBU surely won't move a finger.

Both "In A Moment Like This" and "Just Like Rain" were submitted to Melodifestivalen 2009 but didn't make it to the chosen 28.

I think Sweden made a big mistake. This song is very good. I fell in love with the male singer's voice. It is very nice. Also the girl's voice is very nice.

12 points! :)

Considering some of the crap in MF I am surprised this song didn't make it. I love it and I agree both their voices have a nice tone.

My fave so far. Yes, the song is pretty average but it's also pretty catchy. He's cute and I like their outfits. Very likable.

I love this song, I think it will go to Final, but I don't see it in TOP 10 :| Maybe jury will give lot of votes to Denmark and put them in TOP 10 :D
