Honestly don't care
I'm happy you're here
Tryna make you smile for a while now
I'm like, "Omaga, you're so beautiful"
Why don't you come over and have it?
Why don't you let me have it? Oh

I did a lot of dumb shh
Lot of things I wish I didn't do, aye
Baby, come back, won't you?
Back, come back, he-ey
Oh, I'm crazy
Is it crazy to love you?
Baby, come back, won't you?
Back, come back

You said you're still too mad 'bout them things I did
But I don't know what I did, my baby, yeah
You said you again feel down, to blame apocalypse
There ain't no apocalypse
Long as you're here on my lips

Honestly don't care
I'm happy you're here
I'm tryna make you smilе for a while now
I'm like, "Omaga, you're so bеautiful"
Why don't you come over and have it?
Why don't you let me have it? Oh

You've been home too long
I've been home too long, yeah
We both need to feel love, nothing wrong with that
Můžeš bejt u mě klidně mužem dělat jakoby

There ain't no apocalypse
Long as you're here on my lips

Honestly don't care
I'm happy you're here
I'm tryna make you smile for a while now
I'm like, "Omaga, you're so beautiful"
Why don't you come over and have it?
Why don't you let me have it?

Like omaga, omaga
You're so beautiful
Omaga, omaga
Why don't you let me have it?

You said you're still too mad 'bout them things I did
But I don't know what I did (what I did, what I did)
You said you again feel down, to blame apocalypse
There ain't no apocalypse
Long as you're here on my lips

Honestly don't care
I'm happy you're here
I'm tryna make you smile for a while now
I'm like, "Omaga, you're so beautiful"
Why don't you come over and have it?
Why don't you let me have it?

Like omaga, omaga
You're so beautiful
Omaga, omaga
Why don't you let me have it?

Omaga, omaga
You're so beautiful
Omaga, omaga (yeah)
Why don't you let me?

Along with the announcement, Czech Head of Delegation Kryštof Šámal confirmed that Marvin Dietmann will oversee the stage show. Marvin famously dreamed up Conchita Wurst’s winning Eurovision stage performance — and is also working with Cyprus and Spain this year.

“I believe that the EBU will finally be able to hold the Eurovision Song Contest in the most accessible way possible, so that Benny and the audience can enjoy the ‘omaga’ dance song to the fullest,” Kryštof says. “That is, live from Rotterdam and in full-stage form.”

“We are preparing a visually original concept, where Benny will be accompanied by two female and two male dancers. It is interesting that the position of stage director will this year be filled by Marvin Dietmann, a seasoned professional from Austria, who has extensive experience in this field.”

Sorry, but i'm just not on with this.... i'm among those who defended his previous entry "Kemama", though it wasn't one of my favorites, but this just fails to impress me in any way. The melody is generic pop and the disco sound is already overdone in Eurovision, hope we don't get any more examples of it this year....

I think I actually kind of enjoy this... like more than I want to believe I do even. It's super fun. The electronics are nice and crunchy which I always appreciate. I lowkey would like to fire a rocket at the guy playing that consistent sax but besides that it's a cute and uplifting little song. The music video is charming and helped me to further warm to everything. The Simpsons scene that EscGeek very kindly shared above is wonderful xheat Also, The Shining part I appreciate as a horror fan. All the little pop culture references are really fun.

It's the first entry this year that has genuinely made me smile and for that it's worth :8: points.

I liked kemama way more, let's get this out of the way.

I can't wait to watch the live performance! I was so impressed with his Vidbir performance last year. I think he can sell everything. The song is happy, feel good but I can hear Benny's identity in this, wich makes it stand out amongst other just happy-feel good songs.

Oh and the music video is perfect. I give it an 8 for now, I have a feeling that I will upgrade to 12 come live performance.

On first listen, nothing special to be honest. Plus I am just not into his singing style despite this is basically mainstream pop, which I usually enjoy. I am giving this a 5 as of now.

I do find this a step up from last year. I really do enjoy the beat here! And Benny has got a pleasant voice. But there is something lacking in the melody. Although I guess with a song of this style the beat and rhytms are the most important, I am looking for a catchy melody.
As for now not quite sure how to rate the song. Probably will be better live than in the studio version anyway!

I find this pretty much fun and certainly much better than Kemama, although less personality Id expect we could see something wow in live especially if its the right staging.

So far it can qualify but the best effort they can achieve is the right side of the scoreboard

I think that "Kemama" was much more competitive than this. I do find "Omaga" very interesting and catchy but I think it lacks a strong chorus (for eurovision standards). Personally it's an 8 but I have no idea how it will perform at ESC. Maybe with a good staging it can qualify but I'm not very sure how it's going to look live :/

So first off, leaps and bounds of improvement over last year. Second off, super fun music video. Onto slightly more qualified praise.

Third off, I really like the parts of the song where his voice is a little higher. It's where his tone is best. The parts of the song where his voice dips lower create this weird affect in how he sings that is not only unpleasant but kinda kills the vibe. It's the kind of really annoying detail I can't ignore. Overall, though, positives outweigh the negatives and I think that's good for a :7: with potential to go higher since I did go to the replay button while writing this :)
