And that's is?
Is she going sing the whole song live later / tomorrow in Malta?

Well, it was an unexpected surprise. Ira Losco was asked earlier on her FB whether will Gabriela sing live in the show. She said there will be no live singing and that we must wait until Saturday. So, yes, Gabriela will sing the whole song tomorrow at the Maltese Eurovision Party. But the question is - will we have a chance to see it? xthink I don´t think that the usual cohort of Wiwibloggs, ESCKAZ and EscXtra bloggers will be there to record the performance. This event has no tradition yet and there will be only 4 or 5 acts performing, so... I am quite skeptical.

Perhaps some Maltese forum member could tell us more? Romeo Terence ? (And maybe also tell us what was Ira saying about the Czech Republic in the interview?)

PBS will be there filming the event so I assume they will upload the performances to the TVM Eurovision site or somethng

I only saw bits of xarabank last night, the only interview I saw was when Hovi

The interview is few posts above. I specifically meant the part in 02:55. I deduce that Ira just says that she was in the Czech charity tv show and Gabriela wasn´t there, but she talks about it for about half a minute, so... perhaps she said something more.

This is still one of my faves, it passed :bg: and is now shared third with :fr: for me.
I hope that Czech Republic will finally qualify. I suspect they will be the last SF1 qualifier to be revealed like :nl: in 2013 after our non-qualification streak  xheart

I'm considering to stop watching Eurovision if neither :cz: nor :hr: will qualify ... (and I might take a gap year if :ru: wins) I mean, I witnessed a LOT of unfair things in the past 9 years but that would beat everything. :geek:

I don't think you'll have to worry. Hopefully both will qualify (even though Croatia is more certain than the Czech Republic). The main reason why the Czech Republic is not seen as a certain qualifier is because of they're terrible history in the contest. But they've never sent a entry this good.
And I really really think the juries will sink Russia in the final (and I don't think they'll do as well as people predict in the televoting either)

The Czech Republic will be higher in the semi than Croatia, frankly I wouldn't be surprised if the latter qualified only thanks to the juries. But I could easily see this Nina getting the same result as their previous Nina.
The Czech Republic will be in the top 4 of the juries in the semi and I think they would have qualified even with 100% televoting. If it was sent by any other country(bar San marino), I highly doubt that anyone would question its chances.

Of course.
I have not any doubt that Gabriela will succeed in doing well in this semi as Nina would be able to do.

Eurovoix.com:

The Czech Republic are holding their second Europarty on Tuesday in Zlín.

The line up for the event sees this years Czech entrant Gabriela Gunčíková performing alongside TWiiNS who represented Slovakia at Eurovision 2011. Organisers had booked Amir from France to attend the event however he has cancelled due to a lack of time before the contest. The event is being organised by OGAE Czech Republic.

Oh damn, we could have had a future winner here. xcry1

Anyway: Today, Gabriela was interviewed by Český rozhlas (Czech Radio) and I Stand was played there. It was quite a long interview full of Gabriela´s enthusiasm and healthy self-esteem (a very rare thing to see in Kafkaland), which injected my morbidly defaetist Czech soul by new dose of relative optimism. For nofuxCZ and possibly others who understand, the interview is here.

Tomorrow, she will be in "Dobé ráno" ("Good Morning") tv show on ČT and at the above mentioned party, where she will be interviewed at least twice (by Escportal.cz and Wiwibloggs.com). The music video of I Stand was also spotted several times on tv. There is a poll about Gabriela´s possible fate in Eurovision on Idnes.cz, the most read Czech news web. So, it looks like ČT is finally doing something in terms of promotion and there is a possibility that Czechs will actually know that they have a representative in Eurovision and therefore they should watch it. xup

Thanks for the link! The title of the article is quite... brave  (it says Gabbi is one of the favourites of this year's ESC) - not sure about that, but I would like it to be true xpray
