well.. I hoped for an Alex P. song... But I do think Elena is talented, has just a good amount of recognizability in Greece/Cyprus, and even though I'm not a fan of Laurell, she does compose good songs, when she has help with other great composers and Steengard and "Joker" are two of them.. We'll see, it will certainly be better than Sandro, and it will probably make the final!

Let's go Cyprus!! Sandro was a big mistake... Even on the group performance of Love Shine a Light he was the one I did not like... But now we get to party again with Cyprus. The live performance of Fuego in the Arena in Lisbon was incredible. I was there and it was great!

But... Again a greek singer? Don't get me wrong, Elena will be amazing to watch, can't wait for it, and I know Greece and Cyprus are very close countries, but aren't there any Cypriot singers to represent their own country?

yeah Laurell isn't my type of songwriter as well... she's kind of a hit or miss for me...
songs I like from her: "Stones", "She Got Me", "Tempo", "All the Feels" and "Brave", but then are some I really dislike or just feel indifferent towards them such as "Sisters", "Bigger than us", "Empires", "Wild" and basically all of her UK attempts.

I think she does great when she is paired with strong songwriters... and I think the other 3 are good, so it will probably be a good pop song.
