My first wish is a folk ballad in Cypriot dialect. I've been wanting this for years. CyBC organizes that contest called Cypriot Song Composition Contest every year, why don't they pick the winner of this one for ESC? It would be a very good idea IMO.

I wouldn't mind an electro-pop song in the same style with it, but definitely not in French. We have no connection to French language at all and very few people here can speak that language.

We didn't choose that song, it was internal selection. And it was interesting that we sent something in French, I like the song (although it's not among my top Cypriot entries). But there's no need to repeat something we already sent and failed.

Cyprus could send anything actually, from something really modern to something folk, we have both the composers and the artists to perform any song, but I don't know if they are all interested
For example, for something contemporary, we have Christos Stylianou

First of all i have to dell you something,its been on my mind so long....i have to dell you,its been on my mind way too long...
I am afraid that Cyprus will not be next year in Eurovision.
I wish for the opposite though.And not because of the 12 points.

^ESC is too popular in Cyprus, we'll still find a way to participate I think...
If we'll have a ballad in Cypriot dialect, then not Nikolas Metaxas to sing it. Nikolas is a singer/songwriter & alternative rock singer, singing such a song will be "out of his waters" if such phrase exists in English. Loucas Yiorkas would be much better in this job

First of all, I don't think Cyprus will withdraw. Although we're not in a good situation, as it was said, ESC is popular here.
I want and I'm sure that Valanto will represent us next year. Nikki Ponte could also represent us but I think Sony (her label) will probably go with Greece.

Since 2006 I have loved all the Cypriot entries and it astounds me that you've only qualified twice in those eight contests! I do hope that you receive what you deserve in 2014 and onwards
